 + -1 moreWe called Michael with McGilvray Construction for help and he walked us through the entire process and even helped us to ensure the insurance company provided the necessary funds to be sure the repair was done correctly. Because the second floor of our home was still in use, Michael made sure everything was sealed off to protect against dust and damage, he even came over on weekends to tidy up while his workers were not there! Michael was always accessible and stopped by the house multiple times a day to check in and make sure everything was going according to schedule. Before starting the project, we agreed on a finish date and believe it or not, it was done a week early! Once everything was complete, you could not tell that just weeks before my entire house was torn apart and my kitchen is beautiful.
Description of Work: We recently discovered that there had been a leak under our home and as a result, all the dirt and cement had eroded away and the house was "sinking". The job required that the entire first floor be ripped up and then the house be lifted in order to pour new concrete underneath. We also took this opportunity to make some upgrades in the kitchen which included refinishing the cabinetry, tile and countertops.
