KOVACS LUGGAGE

I was so pleased when Kovac's said they were able to get and replace the wheels. It was nice to be able to go to a real luggage repair shop and not a shoe repair shop where I would have had to find the correct wheels first. Kovac's is very busy, so take your luggage well ahead of any trip. I had a 2 week window. It was worth the wait!

We took it in, discussed whether to repair or replace, chose replace.  We picked it up a week later. The new zipper looks just like the original, sewing is exquisite, and it works well.

Good craftsmanship from these guys, my favorite leather suitcase is now in working condition.  Thanks!

The work was done on time and exactly as proposed.  The workmanship looks good and professional.  I am pleased to have gotten repairs that should extend the life of this luggage piece by several more years.
I drove 45 min to get to the store and it was well worth it.  There is on-site parking and nearby street parking. I called ahead of time and they confirmed that the work was done.
I would definitely use this business again.  They clearly do a ton of work (place is filled with luggage being worked on) and are an authorized Samsonite repair facility according to their website.  No complaints!

They are excellent. We travel a lot and I wouldn't take it anywhere else. They are the best. They did a fine job on the last repair. The bag is back in use and has been on an airplane a couple of times and it works fine. Nothing intimidates them and they fix everything and they fix it right. They are very fairly priced. There was one incident where they lost a bag and I had to come back. They normally say a couple of days and they are right on schedule. The shop is pretty sloppy but they get the work done.

I found Kovacs luggage repair on Angie's list, and based on the recommendations, decided to give him a try. I wanted someone who would do a good job on my briefcase. Joe replaced the rivet with one that nearly matched the old one. He tried to duplicate the stitching so it wouldn't look out of place. When I called and told him I was in the area he got the work done a day ahead of schedule.

I needed a suitcase repaired in 2 days, something that had to be hand-sewn. Done on time and the repaired area looks as good as the other corner.

They were great!

Very well. They determined the repairs were covered under warranty and took care of it. Suitcase was ready to be picked up in one week as promised, and it cost me nothing as they were able to bill manufacturer for the repairs.

Did the work at no charge because Kovacs Luggage decided the repairs were under warranty. Only the handle repair was requested, but they replaced two missing zipper pulls which I forgotten to point out. The workmanship seems to be of excellent quality. The one detractor is that the suit case was not finished on the day promised. However, they completed the work in about 15 minutes; so we did not have to return later.

I brought in a small backpack (the kind that has a compartment for a laptop) with a broken zipper and two very badly frayed carrying straps. They said they could fix it in a week for $18 -- it was done on time and is now just like new. They did a great job.

KOVACS IS THE ONLY PLACE I'D TRUST TO REPAIR MY LEATHER BAGS OR LUGGAGE. THEY EXPLAINED TO ME THE DIFFICULTY OF THIS TYPE OF CLEANING, AND TOLD ME WHAT TO DO IN CASE THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENED AGAIN (DON'T USE WATER ON SUEDE). THEY DIDN'T MAKE ANY PROMISES AS TO RESULT.

THEY REPLACED THE HANDLE JUST AS IF IT WAS NEW. THEY ALSO REPLACED THE HANDLE BY ORDERING IT EXACTLY FROM THE COMPANY THAT MADE THE LUGGAGE. IT TOOK A WHILE SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE WAIT TIME FOR THE HANDLE TO ARRIVE.

FRIENDLY & HELPFUL SERVICE. THERE WAS A NICE SELECTION OF LEATHER HANDLES TO CHOOSE FROM. WORK WAS EXCELLENT & COMPLETED WITHIN ONE DAY. PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE.
