The demolition phase started on time but I get the contractor to meet with me  to sign the contract.  We talked over the phone about problems that arose but I couldn't get him to come over to sign the contract.  When the cost growth was 50% over the estimate, I asked him to stop work and then he finally produced the contract.  I completed the work with another contractor. Hernz never installed the drywall (as part of the negotiated closure with new work offsetting the drywall installation price).

Hernz rewired my entire house (which somehow passed electrical inspection).  However, the old romex and old "ragwire" were eliminated, as promised, and some electrified.  The scariest was a romex cable in the basement with exposed core wire that was electrified and hanging at eye level. I hired another electrician to repair wiring in the attic and eliminate the hazardous ragwire.

The plumbing in the kitchen was well put together but the wrong valves were installed.  I had to hire a plumber to but in the correct valves so that I could install my dishwasher and sink.

THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY WERE UNOBTRUSIVE AND VERY EASY TO COMMUNICATE WITH. I FOUND THE PRICE VERY AFFORDABLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK DONE.

THE WORKERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND WITHOUT DISPLACING MY FAMILY. THE INSULATION APPEARS TO BE INSTALLED VERY NICELY.
