Gerald Garza Construction

I've searched everywhere in Los Angeles for a decent, honest general contractor.  I found one in Gerald,  It took me months, the loss of time and well over $10,000 wasted on crooks/criminal contractors out there.  
Gerald, arrived on time and at a moments notice.  He worked with me to get my permits pulled and job back on track.  He is knowledgable and really seems to have your "my" best interests at heart.  
I have more work to do and I will undoubtedly utilize his services for my commercial and residential needs. 

I couldnt be happier. I tried 5 different contractors...(be careful of the sharks out there!) Mr. Garza represents a professionalism and honesty that is quickly becoming impossible to find anymore. While deployed to combat operations, my family home caught fire and was calculated as a total loss. It was a nightmare. Garza construction has provided support far beyond that of just a contractor. He's become personally involved in seeing us returned whole. His workmanship and attention to detail in his craft are a credit to himself and set the standard for other contractors to follow.

Project started with putting up plastic sheets around the work area to protect the rest of the house from dust and debris. Demo took about 2 days. Drywall and repair took 1 day. All around very pleasant experience went much smoother then I thought it would.

I had an ugly decorative archway in my old victorian house it chopped up the room and made the high ceiling look low. I really didn't like it, so I called a contractor to see if it could be removed. He took a good long look at it and assumed it was not load bearing but said the only real way to know was to knock a few small holes in it to inspect inside. I allowed him to proceed and thankfully it was safe to remove. He started on the job the following week. The job was very messy, lots of plaster, but the archway area was completely incased in plastic sheeting so hardly any dust got in the rest of the house. The whole job took 2 days and I am so glad I did it the room looks so much better. Now I just need to finish painting the room.
