"Mr. [Member Name Removed], It's always great to hear feedback from customers, and if there is ever any concerns we always love to hear from our customers so that we can do what we can to make them happy. I especially appreciate the time you took to go on multiple sites and choose to publicly vent your frustrations. We took some time to investigate your concerns, as I told you I would in our private messages, so that we could come back with full knowledge of what really occurred and provide some insight for our readers. First, congratulations on the sale of your home! What an exciting time. Though it [Member Name Removed] have seemed unusual to you that throughout the process of repairing your pipes that, "it was supposed to be fixed one way and then another way..." plumbing repairs often are a step by step process. What this means is that while we do our best to give you the most realistic idea of what needs to be done, at times, some problems become more evident as the work begins. Similar to when a surgeon takes a patient into the operating room and there are more problems that become apparent after the patient has been opened up, needing more work to fix the problem. We prefer not to "band aid" our customers problems. Just like many patients prefer not to have a band aid fix for their illnesses. You can say that plumbers are like surgeons operating on homes. Sometimes problems are bigger than they initially seemed to be on the surface. Every time something needed to be done, it was disclosed to you and approved by you. Your son was present for most of the time we were working, and had approved all of the work upon completion. Grating: As far as the grating is concerned: All of our vans are stocked with caps. When our technicians completed the work, it was capped, and (again) approved by your son. We received a call asking if we had covered the drain and we said yes. You then called your gardener and had him check. I'm not sure what happened after that, but we received a call saying that there was indeed no cap. No problem.. we had our technicians come back and put a cap for you. So, it's quite surprising to me that your inspector "dinged" you for no cover, because it was covered... twice. Perhaps you should review him, as this strategy seems to be very effective for you. Concrete patch: It was disclosed, both verbally, and, on your invoice, that the concrete patch will be a basic patch. This is what the term "patch" means. It will not exactly match your old concrete. Pricing: You told us that you had received 3-4 other estimates from other companies and that we had beat all of those other prices. We are quite proud of that :) We also re-negotiated the price with you multiple times to try to make it as affordable to you as we could. Customer service is of top priority for us. We have built a great reputation with our customers with that idea in mind. One that we are very proud of. I hope that this clears up some of your concerns. Normally I would end with saying that we look forward to working with you again, but I think we can both agree that we will not be working with each other again. We wish you the best of luck, and please, continue to spread joy in the world! Thank you sir, Free Flo Rooter Management"
