Foothill Lock & Key

My safe wouldn't open they said a couple of drill holes and it will be easy. Guy showed up. Spent 6 hours cut dial and another large hole in safe still didn't open. I asked him. To see if we can push safe and maybe take pressure off one side and it opened. Destroyed safe . They offered another safe then said no they will have a welder come and weld cut off prices on. I said that won't do it and asked for 1st option, replace safe. Then they sent letter from attorney for payment. These guys suck.

Service was prompt, courteous and professional. The locksmith was helpful in suggesting how to re-key the house in a most functional manner.

I was having trouble re-keying a few door and deadbolt locks with a do-it-yourself kit. I brought the locks to the store and Nick showed me what I wasn't doing quite right - something I didn't pick up on in the YouTube videos I'd watched.
The store (and techs) were busy - a sign of a good business, but he managed to juggle all of us and I was out in no time at all. He was awesome - and even gave me a discount since I was using my own pins. I'll definitely use them again!

The locksmith was professional and did a good job. There was one minor problem with one of the locks that he returned to fix without charge a couple of weeks later. During his first visit he was called away by the office (they checked in with me first to make sure that was OK) and returned some time later. A minor inconvenience but not a big deal. The only regret I have is that the kind of locks I wanted don't seem to be available in the US. I checked recently at Lowe's and didn't see them there either. Guess I'll have to get them, the next time I visit my Australian homeland.

The genrleman who showed at the house was more than courteous and Nick at the company was so helpful Both were extremely knowledgeable and fit me right in things could not have been more smoothly or professionally done.

I called for service and Victor arrived quickly. He was very professional and gave me an estimate of the job. He also suggested that if it was too much, that I get just half of the locks done now and the rest after the holidays. Since he was giving me a discount, I decided to have the full job done. He was quick and professional, and made sure I tested each lock before he left. He also helped get a splinter out of my finger as I could not see well enough to get it.

This was our second time using Foothill for lock changes. The first time they were very punctual and professional. For a second appointment, the locksmith missed the appointment window by an hour and a half with no notice, but Foothill was extremely apologetic and made a huge effort to with us, including offering a discount on their services. So we rescheduled and they were once again extremely punctual and professional. They always call afterwards to follow up as well, which I appreciate. Kudos on your excellent customer service.

The locksmith arrived on time, advised me of the costs of either picking the lock or drilling it out. Within 20 minutes he had successfully picked the lock and made the new keys. Everything went smoothly and the price was reasonable.

The technician was very friendly. He actually took the locks back to his shop. He had to use it a few days to track down the key, but he did. They were willing to do it and weren't going to charge much, which I liked. It was a pretty good experience all around.

I did not find them very thorough. He came and he got the key to come out, but my handle was still not able to be in the proper position. I asked how it could be fixed. He told me that it would have to be a bigger spring, but he never followed through to fix the handle. He did the basic work so I can get my key out, but I don't know why he didn't follow through with the job.

We just bought a new house and needed some locks installed. I tried, but had a little difficulty. Also, we ended up having 4 different keys. So, we called Foothill on 9/4 and they said they could come the next day between 12 and 2. The locksmith, whose name I can't recall, arrived at 12:20. He was extremely pleasant, helpful, and made the lock I installed work beautifully as well installing a lock we had on hand. He also showed us how to make smart keys on our Kwikset locks. When he left, we had locks on all doors (inner and outer) and only 2 keys to open them all! These guys are great. We've used them before and will use them again. You'll love them.

It was great. They gave me quote and stuck to it. It only took a couple of hours and they were fine to deal with. The lock works fine and I am happy.

I managed to lock myself out of my house so I called Foothill Lock and Key to come help me. The locksmith arrived and struggled with the lock. After about 15 minutes, he got another call and left! He said he'd come back when he was done but I told him not to bother. He said the other call was an important client and that he wouldn't stay to help me with my lock. I couldn't believe it!

I PRICE SHOPpED BEFORE I HIRED FOOTHILL LOCK AND KEY. THEY HAD THE BEST PRICE IN TOWN. THEY PROVIDED SAME DAY SERVICE AND GOT THE WORK DONE IN JUST OVER AN HOUR. I WAS A LITTLE DISAPpOINTED THAT ALL THEY KEYS DIDN'T MATCH AND SOME OF THE LOCKS DON'T WORK AS SMOOTHLY AS THEY SHOULD.

THE SERVICE THEY RENDER WAS EXCELLENT, THE PRICE THEY CHARGE FOR THEIR SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO FRIENDS. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THEY DIDN'T SCREW THE TRUNK LATCH COMPLETELY, SO I HAD TO STOP BY THE SHOP FOR THEM TO TIGHT it UP.

THE GUY GAVE ME A PRICE OF 120 DOLLARS, THEN HE LEFT TO GET A PART. WHEN RETURNED, HE ASKED ME HOW MUCH HE SAID THIS WAS GOING TO COST ME. I THOUGHT THAT WAS KIND OF STRANGE. I GOT THIS GUY THROUGH THE AUTO CLUB. THE LOCK DOES WORK THOUGH.

THE MAN ARRIVED QUICKLY AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND WORKED QUICKLY.
