+ -1 moreDr. Spambalg's first exam was very thorough and she was friendly. Subsequently she required monthly blood tests and would not discuss test results on the phone. She required an office visit which cost me $100 each time. At these office visits she did nothing that could not have been done by phone. The last day I saw her, I asked her a question about estrogen treatment after menopause and, even though I was paying $100 for this 'follow-up visit', she would not answer any questions about the safety of estrogen treatment. In addition, her thyroid treatment is exactly what my GP does. No extra care for tons of extra $$. Do not bother if you have thyroid disease.
Description of Work: Dr Spambalg treated my hypothyroidism for more than 6 months.

+ -1 moreExcellent Exam. Office Staff organized, and professional. All Medical Practices could learn from this team on how to treat patients. Kudos to Dr. Spambalg and her Staff.
Description of Work: Referred to me by my Doctor when I was Hospitalized in late June. Her first available appointment was for the end of August, but her girls knew I needed to get in for an initial consultation ASAP, called on their first cancelation and asked if I would like to see the Doctor on June 24. Great Office Staff. Met with the Dr. Very detailed oriented, efficient, and great professional medical manner. Took more than an hour with me going over my problems and history and then did a physical exam. Did blood work up, and called me immediately upon the results to change my meds. Could not ask for a better doctor. Said she would access the medical records from the Huntington to see what tests were done on me while I was hospitalized. I wish all Doctors were are good as she is and were as concerned for their patients. She even still had the note in her desk when my internist called to consult with her when I was in the hospital. Listens to you and asks at the end of the consultation if we had any more questions. Walks you out of the office and shakes your hand as you leave. What a Great Doctor. More Doctors should strive for her degree of professionalism and care of a patient.

+ -1 moreThis endocrinologist is very thorough. She makes you feel comfortable & asks the right questions. She had very good suggestions on dealing with the new Sensor.
Description of Work: On this visit it was a regular diabetic check-up. I recently started using the Sensor with my insulin pump, so it was an opportunity to go over my current issues with the device as well.
