Custom Design Upholstery

I worked with Manny. He answered my call and met with me after making sure I would be coming by at a time when he was there (I came on a Sunday). He had many books of fabric, but also asked what I had in mind. He brought out some samples of remnant fabrics that he had in the back room, and one was beyond perfect for the job. His fee for labor was very reasonable and I saved a bundle on the fabric. The job was done when scheduled (two weeks), and the rocker looks and feels wonderful. I should also note that the rocker was broken and the wood parts that show were worn. He gave me an estimate to have it refinished and reglued. I ended up doing it myself, but he does have a guy he works with that is reasonable. He also said that the guy can remake wood parts that are broken or that you may want a different look for (a different styling to the wooden arms of your couch, for instance). This is a small store run by Manny and his brother. They have clearly been doing upholstery for many, many years. I would definitely go back, and probably will be back soon for matching window treatments.
