Budget Blinds

Budget Blinds Pasadena installed blinds that were defective, which came with a 5-year "no questions asked" written guarantee.  Once installed, it was clear the blinds were defective (the blinds sagged, did not stack properly and had holes in them), and the blind construction was not according to verbal and written agreement provided by Stephanie Acker of Budget Blinds Pasadena.  I could have gotten equal or better quality for less money.  For more than a year, they acted as though they were going to replace the defective blinds (and did replace a few, but not most).  Many times, they didn't respond to calls and e-mails and often it took several attempts, and weeks or months of delays for them to answer.  One of the owners, Zach Acker, complained that he could not get his money back from the manufacturer because he'd only had three days to accept or reject the blinds once received from the manufacturer, and claimed he didn't have time to get my blinds delivered, unpacked and installed for inspection in that amount of time.  At one point, I attempted to get assistance from corporate Budget Blinds and they said they are not responsible for the sellers because they are franchises.  It now appears Budget Blinds Pasadena may have gone out of business.  According to my experience and other bad reviews on the Internet, it appears this franchise conducted business irresponsibly.  Because the corporate Budget Blinds declined responsibility and had licensed the franchise, I recommend against doing business with any Budget Blinds franchise.

I have had a terrible experience. It has been 11 weeks, in which I have called them numerous times to come out and install the curtains. The original blinds that they installed were done incorrectly and they have yet to install the curtains. They are very unprofessional and discourteous.

First the agent was great, came, gave estimate and made the first batch rather quickly, but later I had a hard time getting any phone calls returned for fixing some of the blinds and also  additional orders. I guess they do not care for more business. I would not recommend them.
