Do not even consider hiring this service provider. He left my job undone, never returned to finish, and didn't bother calling. The owner, Dana Anderson, came to my home to perform the work. He came with no shoes on his feet. He said if he were in South Pasadena, he'd have to wear shoes, look the part. So, he figured he could disrespect me, didn't have to maintain a professional appearance when he came to my home, and could just show up any kind of way. I should have known to send him packing right then. He came with a part that was not of equal strength as what was existing. He also came unprepared. He didn't have a felt tip to mark the rail to cut it. I had to give him an eyebrow pencil. He didn't scope the job out properly beforehand and found that he couldn't fix the fence with what he had and said that he needed to replace a section of the fence vs. just the top rail. Which meant more money out of my pocket. He left; but, said he would call me back that day. As of 02/03/14, I have yet to hear from him. But, quite frankly, I hope to never hear from him or see him again. When will I learn the lowest bid isn't always the best bid and that you pay for what you get. Don't waste your time with this guy / company.
