ALBERTO'S POLISH & REFINISHING

The work was well done, but not on time. The job took one week longer than the 2 weeks I was quoted. Alberto's never called to say they would be delayed. I only found out by being proactive and calling them. Though their claim receipts say and quot;No checks,and quot; upon paying I was told that they do, in fact, take checks. Would have been nice to know earlier as they do not take credit cards.

Stripped paint and old finish off of some original hardware from our 1930's era house. Also, put the old entry set together for me in the proper manner. Everything looks great (oil rubbed bronze finish) and works better than ever before. Thanks Alberto!

The kitchen cabinet pulls looked great and were completed quickly. The bright brass front door hardware looked as good as new. What was best, though, was that they promised to do the front door hardware work in the same day and lived up to that promise so that we did not have to spend the night with an unlocked front door. I really appreciated that.

Alberto's did replating work for me on kitchen cabinet pulls and front door hardware and did an excellent job. The powder coating seemed to be done offsite and my experience with that was a completely different story. I kept being told it would be ready next week so I kept calling back and being told the same thing over and over. Ultimately it took two months to get the work done. Then I was not given all the parts which I should have been so I had to return again. After that, I still had to go to the hardware store to get some parts because by then I had had enough! It was a frustrating experience, especially since my other experience with them couldn't have been better. I would just hope they read this review and find someone else to do their powder coating for them because that part of their operation is reflecting badly on the other fine work they do.

Alberto's got the job done quickly, in less than two weeks, and the price was reasonable compared to others we received estimates from. The brass looks great. We were very satisfied.
