Tom's Tree Svc & Certified

The tree was so tall that they had to bring in a cherry picker because of the shape of our lot. It was expensive. It was like $2300 but we had to have somebody that knew what they were doing to do it.  It was just a huge tree. They cleaned up afterwards. I am going to give them a B partly because they called but they sometimes got here in...it may have been that they couldn't do it when they were going to do it because they couldn't get the big cherry picker. They must have had to rent it because I don't think they had it. This was one huge tree. Mostly it was good but I didn't do much research. I just looked on Angie's List and they were there so I said, 'Okay'. It is the time thing but I think that the time delay was probably related to the fact that they had to get this cherry picker thing. This is the only time we've ever had to deal with a tree service. Nothing to compare it to. They explained what they were doing. They did it. Would I use them? Absolutely, but I would check with others. If I had to have that same thing done, I would absolutely have them do it.

Tom and his crew removed a huge old oak tree that had rotted out from the inside and dropped across another oak.  If that other tree had not been there the failed tree would have done major damage to our house.  The job was complicated because our lot slopes down from the street making it impossible to use their normal equipment.  
His crew arrived on time and spent a busy day safely removing that tree and cleaning up the mess.  It was a joy watching his crew work.  They had obviously all been together for quite a while and they knew what they were doing.  
Tom also checked all the other trees on the property to make sure that they were healthy.
I would absolutely recommend him if you need any tree work.

Their work was very satisfactory. The crew discovered a couple of trees with some dead branches that we hadn't discussed and went ahead and did that work also.

Got the necessary permits, carefully removed the trees with no damage to any of the rest of my yard or house. Cut wood into 16 inch sections. Removed all brush.

He showed up did his job and we are very satisfied. We now have lot's more wood to burn!

They did a good and thorough job but the man who performed the job was very rude. Anytime I asked him a question he would look at my husband and give him the answer. He is not as good as he thinks he is. I tried calling him two or three times as I had a branch hanging over my deck but he never responded and as such my husband and I had to perform the job. They were here on time and came when they said they would. I would have nothing to do would him and would never recommend him.

Everything went great. They work quick and did not cause any problems. They are one of the best local companies.

The crew arrived on time. Each person knew their job and they worked as an efficient and knowledgeable team. This is the fourth time I am using their service and they just get better each time. They are the best.

They were some of the hardest working and professional men I have ever hired or met. They arrived promptly and worked non stop all day. Watching them swing from tree to tree was breathtaking and they were extremely safety conscious. They were also very careful to protect my numerous gardens, covering trees and bushes with large garbage cans to save them from any limbs falling.One thing I was not prepared for was how much wood I would have. Luckily a friend wanted the wood and took it away. Be sure to clarify with Tom what you want done with the leftover wood and know how you are going to deal with giant pieces of wood before you agree to keep it!
