Jubilio also remodels homes (not just construction). Our work was done in 2006 and it went very quickly. We priced items at a home improvement store. After he emailed his first draft of the contract, we revised it to add specifics we wanted, trying not to leave anything out. Then we met him and went over it line for line, so we came to a "meeting of the minds" and everything was communicated. During our meeting, we made changes to the contract on our computer. Once we were all in agreement, we printed out 2 copies and signed/counter-signed the originals. All you need to do is make sure you've thought everything out-and put it all in the contract. Jubilio, Luis, and his great team did a wonderful job. All that needed to be done was to communicate and make sure everything is in the contract going in. So, if you want laminate and where-specify it in the contract (i.e., only in new bedroom; finish the existing hardwood floors; how many coats); if you want HardiPlank, specify HardiPlank it, etc. If you have a question, and you need to show Jubilio, have him come by and show him what your concern is. He can get it worked out for you. He was the only one who agreed we could put 2 doors to guest bathroom, so we could take a short cut through the house. He stopped rain water flooding our sub-level garage by adjusting the cement to the patio. He's GREAT! Very good guy! Sample of SPECIFICS to add to contract: New Master Bedroom: a)Vinyl exterior sliding double glass door leads to the outdoor patio (via extended foundation) valued at $600. Stairs and ramp (wheelchair accessible) from master bedroom to patio leading to backyard; b)Windows to be dual-glazed fiberglass frame; c) Plywood flooring with hardwood covering to match color of existing red oak hardwood floor in rest of dwelling; d) Moldings to be matched with existing bedrooms; e) Paint interior walls using standard quality white water-based enamel paint to match existing off-white color; f) Supply and install standard light fixture valued at $40; g) 3 electrical outlets at each wall, positions to be determined; h) Wiring to be supplied for TV/cable and phone/fax, positions to be determined.
