I had the good fortune to choose The Goldsmith for repairs on my gold cross. My husband and I been in this shop before, we loved seeing the interesting jewelry there, nothing like usual jewelry stores. Each time we?ve been there, we were greeted with welcome & kindness.  I thought of our good experiences when searching for a place to repair my cross.  I was very pleased with this choice, I could not have made a better one.
My cross has special meaning as it was a gift from my mother. It  has a freestyle pattern with a small diamond in the center. An accident ripped the small diamond out, a new one had to be found and the damage repaired. Mr. Wilson knew immediately the right size diamond  and chose a very pretty, lovely stone, then asked my approval. He treated my cross as if it was worth a fortune, giving it his full attention even though the repair cost was amazingly low. I waited only a week for completion. In first seeing the cross,  I was stunned. The stone is a higher quality than the original and I delight in the unexpected twinkles from the center of the cross, it?s quite striking. Along with that, the entire gold cross was polished and sparkled beautifully.  Mr. Wilson gives the clear impression of doing his work because he takes it seriously, because he loves it. Not once in his shop have I felt he?s like too many others, just in in for the money. My small repair was treated royally, as if it was a big, expensive, important job. 
I?m more than pleased with the quality of the work and the quality of the purchase and recommend this shop without reservation. For any jewelry needs, I will return to this shop and will go to no other.
