Steve took time to really understand our needs and help us understand the market and the different neighborhoods. He has a very good sense of value and also is very helpful in preparing a house for sale, taking care of all the details, even when that includes minor remodeling. He's great!

Having worked with several realtors in the past, as well as having interviewed dozens, I have enjoyed working with Steve the most. He is a strong advocate, provides sound advice, and has deep knowledge of the Peninsula, having lived here all his life. He and his partner Jeff Stricker focus on four cities - Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Los Altos and Mountain View. If you are considering buying or selling a home in one of these cities, I strongly urge you to contact Jeff and Steve - you won't regret it! Most realtors are typically transaction-oriented and want to help you buy/sell a home as quickly as possible so they can pocket the money and move on to the next client. At least this is what I have found in my own personal experience. However, Steve does not fit this mold - from the very beginning, Steve patiently provided advice on which homes were solid buys vs. those which weren't. This was super useful information as my husband and I were first-time home buyers. During the negotiation process, Steve moved quickly to keep the discussion moving, while filling in the gaps when we had questions on various legal documents. Post sale, Steve has delivered ongoing value, giving us access to his enormous list of contacts. Through him, we were able to find good contractors to help us fix our roof, chimney, and more. Recently Steve even welcomed my husband and I to his home to show us how he landscaped his yard (which is something we are currently trying to figure out how to do)! I highly recommend Steve TenBroeck and plan to work with him again when we are ready to sell our home and buy our next one.

She was recommended by someone at church. Her husband is also a realtor and specializes more in commercial properties. She provided over the top customer service and listened and understood what we were looking for. She really worked hard for us. We went out almost every Sunday for a month and looked at about 6 or 7 houses. Her daughter also works with them and if something came up and Sharon was not available then she would show us the houses on those days. I wanted to move before the school year started and we had been house hunting all of summer, so I was sick of house hunting. I did not want to see another house, but she said you have to see this one, this is what you want. It turned out to be what we wanted and the price was in our range and had all the main features. She was good about knowing what areas were good for resale value and also gave us information about schools.
