Great! They were on time and the job was finished in one day. We had a pretty large gap in the hall way between the hard wood flooring and the wall. Larger than the baseboard could cover, but Bob and guys put in the little extra flooring to make it look nice and uniform. Really went the extra mile. Everything looks fantastic.
Description of Work: Base boards, crown molding, and gaps filled in wood flooring filled in.

The team was very professional, clean, on time and the work was fantastic. We've given their number to several friends and would recommend them in a heart beat.
Description of Work: Turned one big room into 3 offices.
During the inspection of a house we were buying, I asked about the sagging floor in the kitchen. The inspector assured me that it was common in 'raised foundation' homes. He looked under the house and gave it a clean bill of health. When we moved in and the refrigerator was in place the sagging became much worse. After calling a couple of contractors, it became apparent that it was going to be difficult to find someone that wanted to do the work. The crawl space under the house is only about 18" and one contractor gave us an outrageous bid without even going down there to look. We came upon Bobby (Robert Barillas) the owner of R.J.B. purely by accident as he doesn't advertise and we are SO glad we did! He showed up with his helper, Albert and the two of them went under the house and took pictures of what they found. Our concern was the floor which, as it turned out, was being improperly supported by a few old trailer jacks. But going further in, he also discovered that a load bearing beam was sitting on the ground, completely unsupported. I could go on and on with what he discovered down there but the two problems I described above were the most serious. And he knew how worried we were about the condition of the house, strictly from a safety standpoint and still gave us a completely reasonable price. He's a stand-up guy! Bobby and Albert showed up on time (@ 7:00) every morning for 4 days and worked their butts off. Bobby provided us with pictures of the progress every evening via e-mail since 90% of what he did was under the house and out of sight. They were very pleasant and friendly and cleaned up after themselves daily. If we need any further work around here that requires a general contractor, I will not hesitate to call RJB.
Description of Work: R.J.B. Construction repaired existing joists and installed new floor joists, dug footings and installed concrete piers and support beams under the sub-floor. They also repaired an electrical junction box and corrected improperly strapped copper water lines under the house. In addition, they supplied concrete and rebar support to a previously unsupported 8 x 8 load bearing post and secured the main handrail post for the staircase.
