I am having LaValle and Sons do my roof with new tiles. I also have a small range hood that I needed to have installed in my up stairs kitchenette. No other contractor would touch it as it is a very different custom design. Not only did Marty do an incredible job, he left the place SPOTLESS, and also took the time to read the manual and run through how to work it as well. It's very hard to find a good honest contractor these days. I did have to wait a few weeks for him to become available, but I guess everyone wants his services because he is so good. Roof is looking great as well. And he is knowledgeable in all the codes and is doing a wonderful job. ") I would give 10 stars if I could.

They were good.  Marty was pretty good. They even had to go into the closets and bathrooms to redo it all.  He was there always on time.

The crew worked every day even the day after Thanksgiving. The work was performed from 11-18-14 to 11-28-14.

Electrical outlets had stopped working in half my house --- the day my wife and I came home from the hospital with our first son, and my mother-in-law tried to vacuum and she plugged the vacuum cleaner into and quot;the wrong plugand quot; and bam, we were running extension cords throughout the house. I had used Marty with LaValle and Sons on a larger project last year in which he had done a great job and so I called him. Even though it was a small job this time, he still made me feel like an important and valued client and took care of the issue efficiently, and charged less than I expected. He did a great job, as always. I have not had an issue since.

This is a family run construction company. I called for an estimate to remodel a bathroom at a rental property. I live 60 miles away from the rental and needed someone who could do everything long distance. Mr. LaValle responded quickly, contacted my tenant, visited the location and sent a written estimate via email. It was detailed as to exactly what he would do for his labor cost. The labor estimate was $3800 to complete the work. I purchased the needed items at stores close to me and Mr. LaValle picked them up at two local home improvement stores close to the rental property. My parts cost came to $2200. The total bathroom remodel was $6000.

Mr. LaValle, kept me informed as to the progress, via email and telephone conversations. The original time estimate was 5 days. It took 9 days to complete the work as there were unexpected problems discovered when he removed the fiberglass shower stall. The drain was old and corroded. He had to jack hammer the cement out and replace the drain.

His original estimate had been to put in a prefab fiberglass shower pan. We wanted it to be a full tile shower, including the floor. We also asked him to install a recess (for shampoo and such) and a grab bar. He completed these things without changing the Labor price. All of this was done during the New Year holiday.

I had conversations with my tenant during the construction. She had nothing but good things to say about the experience. She was happy with the work, said the workers were always on time, and cleaned up each day after the work was done. The bathroom looks beautiful, and is done in a professional manner.

Mr. LaValle is a good businessman. His communication and technology skills allowed me to complete this remodel, see what it looked like (he took photos and sent them via email) and pay for it (with a credit card) all from 60 miles away.

I plan on using him again for remodeling the second bathroom in the rental. I wish I could use him for remodeling at my residence, but he's too far away!!

Took longer than expected. They told me it would take one week but I had to live with the mess and inconvenience for three weeks. They do not clean up their dust and mess when they are finished so I had a lot of dusting and vacuuming to do in my living room. They did remove the debris from the old porches. Mr. LaValle listens well and gave me the look I wanted for my house.

These guys do quality work but sometimes are a little slow. The work took longer than they estimated. It was basically a father and one son doing most of the work. Sometimes both were there and sometimes only one. When I was unhappy with the shelves, they redid them until I was satisfied. I was able to reach them by phone in the evenings, not just during and quot;business hoursand quot;. If I left a phone message, they got back to me the same day. They tried very hard to make me happy with their work. I have already hired them for another job.
