Campos Painting

I a single woman homeowner. I asked a trusted architect friend for a referral for an exterior house painter. He told me about Jose Campos, as he and his sister had personally used him. I called him, set an appt. for a free estimate, he came on time as scheduled, took a 15 min. tour around the outside of my home assessing the work and repairs that he would make before beginning the job. He provided an extremely fair estimate based on what needed to be done besides the painting itself. Jose does thorough prep work before painting. Don't let his fancy website fool you--he personally is present at every job, working along side his crew, which includes his son. His team is neat, clean, conscientious and does thorough, quality work. Jose understands his reputation is linked to every job he does and it shows in the care and execution he puts into his work. He is on time, delivers on what he promises and then some. Anything that I was unhappy with (which wasn't anything) he was happy to hear about it and fix. I was most impressed with Jose's offer to go above and beyond what was originally asked for (this required a very small additional fee) but worth it for the overall finished look of the house, For example, he pointed out that erosion was happening to an exterior wall because of poorly executed drip spout. He offered to extend the pipe, directing the dripping to the sidewalk so that the wall is now protected. He offered to remove an old satellite dish and electrical line from previous owners that were hanging and hideous! As a single woman, I would never attempt to know what could be removed nor how, so I was grateful for the offer and assistance--Lord knows the cable guy won't offer to do it!! He completed the job in a timely manner--some days were added because of the extra work I elected to do based on his suggestions. I am so pleased and happy with the outcome.
