Above All Painting

Short review, for those that just want to get right to the point: Julio did a great job! He was quick, clean, courteous, and responsive. One of the best experiences I’ve had with any contractor ever, no exaggeration! 10/10 – would definitely hire again for any painting needs. For those who like more detail: We had a new roof installed and our fascia boards replaced all the way around while they were at it, because many of the older boards were rotted out, so we figured might as well just get everything done at once. At the time we hadn’t considered painting them because the whole new roof process was a bit overwhelming. Once we realized we needed to have them painted it was too short notice to start doing research and cold calls to find a good painter. So I asked the roofing contractor if he knew of a good painter (he was doing a great job so I was hoping that he had other good professionals in his circle). He gave me the number of a guy and I called to see if he was available to paint the fascia boards. Unfortunately he was not, but he had another painter’s number that he said he has known for 10 years. So I called Julio and set up a time for him to come out that afternoon to give me an estimate. He showed up when he said he would and we talked for a bit, he is very friendly and knowledgeable. Then he walked around, looked at what needed to be done, gave me a price and said he could start within a couple of days. Later that evening I received an email with an official estimate and approved it. Not long after that he sent over a contract, laying out the services and price, which I promptly signed. He started work the next day and while they were painting the fascia (doing a great job) my wife and I started discussing the house exterior, what with the new roof and new fascia, the old paint was looking a bit, well, old and considering it was the color the previous owners put on at some point, we thought it might be time to make update it and make it ours. So we asked him if he could give us an estimate for the whole house exterior. He emailed a second estimate later that evening, we felt it was fair so we approved it and received a new contract which we signed and then it was just a matter of picking the correct color. He helped us do that, made suggestions, brought out a color fan and when we narrowed it down to a few choices, brought out sample colors and put them on the house so we could live with them for a few days until we decided. He started not long after the roofers were finished and did a great job! His workers were courteous and they cleaned up every day before they left. Whenever we had questions he always had answers and we never had any problem getting a hold of him. He finished the job in the timeframe that he gave us and we absolutely love the new paint job. We will not hesitate to call Julio the next time we need any painting done.
