The repairman found and fixed the problem quickly. The temperature is back to normal.

I've used Preferred for plumbing since 2004 to do faucet repairs, replacements, drain cleaning, etc.  From time to time they have run into problems but have never charged me more than their estimate even though there were here extra hours.  They might not have the best price but if you want it done right the first time....

I do not think they are experts in tankless water systems and their "specialist" in this area made changes to our agreed upon system plan without telling me.  (I had a very good plumber install an elaborate system in my Studio City home several year

s ago so knew how they worked.)  Because if this change he argued that that I had authorized the change and that to correct it was going to cost me additional money.  I spoke to the owner and made it clear that there would be no more money.  However; in order to get the system to work properly a number future service calls were necessary.  One was to allow the specialist to try a different instillation plan that didn't work.  That had to be taken out and my original plan installed.

I've used P.P. many times, so plumber is familiar to me. He knew what I needed. In and out in under 40 minutes. Company is always responsive and professional.

We could not figure out from where the water was coming from and it was pouring out into the inner patio, we have a little qaseeda attached.  When you call, Preferred Plumbing Heating would immediately tell you what the price is for a visit and what is going to be if the service person goes along.  I like that because a lot of places don’t do that, certainly not in Orange county they don’t do that.  The fellow got here.  He was prompt, very businesslike and immediately could see what he thought it was, did some testing and so forth.  He was very frank with us.  He told us that we need not worry about cost only the labor because we had the 5 year warranty on the water heater which we had not even thought about.  They were very clear, very concise about what the price was what the cost would be since we were under warranty and we did not have to pay for the parts.  We like that.  Over all I thought they were fine.  There wasn’t anything that was problematic.  Quality wise we have not had any problem after that.  We would use them in the future.
