LOWE'S

Cost of appliances was not added into the 'Cost of Service,' but we got all appliances on sale from Lowes at very good prices.

 Project went very well. The cabinet/counter designer at Lowes was very accommodating and patient to the multiple changes and options we explored during the process. She gave us top down and side view pictures of the options, which gave us a good idea of how it would look.

 Once we decided what we wanted, the cabinet installer came out to make sure I measured correctly. That was a $75 charge, but is deducted from the price if they do the job. He was very good and made some good suggestions which we incorporated into our plan. The cabinets took about two weeks (or so) to make and were delivered to us. The cabinet installer came the next working day to install them (the stars were in alignment on that one). He did a super job and also installed the additional wire slide-out drawers we bought from Lowes. I highly recommend the drawers. Very high quality and give great access to every inch of space.

 Two days later the counter installer came out and made a template. Two weeks or so later, the counter installer came out and put in the counter.

 The cabinet installer and counter installer (separate contractors) called to schedule installation and showed up on time. A Lowes representative called to follow up after every single phase, meaning we got calls after the cabinets were installed, the counter, and after each appliance was delivered and installed.

 I did call Lowe?s after each phase to make sure things moved along quickly. They might have even if I didn?t call, but I didn?t want to take a chance. When your kitchen is out-of-service, you want it done FAST.

 Our kitchen is beautiful. The price was much less than I expected it would be going into the job based on what my neighbors spent on theirs. We also got cherry cabinets, which I initially thought would be too expensive, but it wasn?t the case. I would definitely use this Lowes again and recommend them to others.

It was good service. The person was on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. He was even pleasant about it which is always a plus. I went in and bought the door at the store and talked to the representative there. They arranged everything and all I had to do is wait on the day and they came and took care of it all. It is working well even to this day.

So far we've had no complaints. They did the job quite quick and he was timely. They came when they said they were going to come. Since it was for one of our rental units I didn't see the person myself or have interaction with them but my husband said they were good and efficient.

I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE END RESULT. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN THAT WHEN THE WORK WAS BEING DONE, WE MENTIONED THAT THE CABINETS WERE DISCOLORED. THE CONTRACTOR THAT THEY CONTACTED SAID, "OH YEAH, YOU'RE RIGHT," BUT HE CONTINUED TO INSTALL THEM, SO I CONTACTED LOWE'S AND THEY CONTACTED THE CABINET COMPANY. THEY REPLACED THE CABINETS, BUT THEY WOULD NOT INSTALL THEM. EVEN THE LOWE'S PEOPLE SAID THEY WERE DISCOLORED. THEY JUST DON'T WANT TO PAY TO HAVE SOMEONE TAKE THEM OUT AND PUT THEM IN AGAIN. IT WASN'T VERY GOOD. HE LEFT THE ALARM SYSTEM HANGING THERE. HE WAS SLOPPY, I MEAN MY KITCHEN PAINT STILL ISN'T FINISHED. IT DOESN'T HAVE A FINISHED LOOK TO IT. SOMEBODY HAS TO COME AND PAINT THE LIVING ROOM TO MAKE IT BLEND IN.

THE PEOPLE WHO WORK there HELPED US FIND EVERYTHING WE NEEDED RIGHT AWAY THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT I needed FOR MY FIRE PLACE TO KEEP OUR HOME WARM AND LONG LASTING FIRE.

WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE AND WOULD GO BACK TO THEM FOR FUTURE BUSINESS. THEY RETURNED OUR CALLS WHEN WE HAD QUESTIONS AND TOLD US TO CALL THEM BACK ANYTIME. I AM VERY SURPRISED WITH HOW HAPPY WE WERE BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LOT OF YOUNG WORKERS THERE. THEY ALL SEEM TO KNOW A LOT ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.
