JAKE THE LOCKSMITH INC

Abraham from Jake The Locksmith came on Dec 1 to rekey two locks. This was fine. However he did not have the blanks needed to make us more keys. He said he would order and bring them over next week. Never heard back. Called many times. On two occasions they promised to come by but never showed. Now six weeks later and I have given up. Disappointing.

He was good. He was a friendly guy and did a good job. I don't know why I chose him. I may have liked his name. His price was fair and after all it was just locks. He was a little bit casual though.

He was great. I needed more than just the bolt lock fixed. I lost the keys to the bolt lock, and my car keys were on it too, and he made me car keys as well. He didn't have to, but he went ahead and made another car key for me. It was a relly good experience. He was very helpful. He went out of his way to do something extra, and didn't charge me anything extra.

Extremely professional. Did everything we asked for at a very reasonable price.

The repairman arrived within a half hour of his appointment, calling us to explain that he would be a bit late. He was efficient, courteous and did an excellent job at a reasonable cost. We would definitely use Jake the Locksmith again.

When I initially called the company, I discussed the job including the cost. I was told that the price was based on the number of locks. When the person arrived he told me the price was based on the number of tumblers and 5 of the locks had 2 tumblers. The person they sent out arrived on time and did a good job.

Nate was punctual and fast on his feet. The entire project took less than an hour.

Jake showed up early, called to see if it was OK, was VERy nice and listened to what the problem was with the front door locking system.
Took time to really examine the situation, decided how to fix the door and the problem and did it very quickly and at a great savings to me because of his ability and expertise.
Was great, great guy, easy going and worked hard during the 116 degree heat...

He made a key for my car while he was here. It was bent and didn't work, which I didn't realize until after he left. But, he did a really good job. And gave me another referral to someone else to fix the car key. Overall, I was pleased and he did the work very quickly.

He was thorough and efficient, and while completing the task at hand, he gave many useful tips on security as well as how to maintain the locks in the desert climate. I would hire him again without hesitation and would recommend him without reservation.

I contacted them 10 weeks later regarding a problem I was having with one of the doorknobs and they promptly stopped by and fixed the problem. The service tech said to pay him what I felt it was worth so I paid him $20 cash (more as a tip). I was pleasantly surprised by their integrity since this subsequent problem may or may not have been a result of the rekeying of the locks.

I THOUGHT THEY DID AN OK JOB. THEY COULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE NICER WHEN COMING OUT BUT I THINK IT WAS JUST BECAUSE IT WAS HOT OUTSIDE, HOWEVER, OVERALL IT WAS OK BECAUSE THEY DID WHAT WAS ASKED OF THEM.
