Home Team Electric is my only Electrician. Carlos was amazing, he explained options services and prices. His workmanship was impeccable. He replaced numerous outlets, a wall sconce, light switches and installed a fire alarm. Thank you Home Team Electric- thank you Carlos!

I contacted the company, explained the job, and asked for a quote since by last encounter with an onsite technician from another company found at the top of the list on Angieslist resulted in an estimate of $225 with the discount as a certified service provider. The Home Team Electric customer service representative said they cannot provide standard pricing information or job estimates over the phone and that a technician would have to come out to inspect and diagnose the job. There would be a fee of course for the onsite visit. Angieslist used to be a good place to go to find tradespeople. But I'm beginning to question that assumption.

Work went very well-- done quickly, the price charged was the estimate provided and we were given a written warranty for the work.  Very polite, professional, cleaned up, and wore "booties" while inside the house.

Went very well, as usual.  We first used Desert Electric when we moved to the Desert 3 years ago and have been using them ever since.  They work with the non-technical homeowners (like us) to figure out what can be done, explain different options, and then help get everything taken care of, for example, they were able to get us some rare lightbulbs for an old European chandelier.  Always on time and courteous.  Wouldn't use anybody else. -Steve S. Okay.  Seemed honest and offered less expensive method of accomplishing my goal.

They quoted me $29 dollars to come out and look at the problem.  When he got here he then told me it was going to be an additional $129 to diagnose the problem.  An hour later he told me the lights on my day/night sensor had developed a short and that was causing the circuit to blow.  Then he told me it would be another $195 to diagnose that problem and that he would not have time to do it today.  
He then did his "free safety" inspection and told me I needed 3 new smoke detectors and the reason the color of the plastic is changing because the smoke detectors were getting old and need to be replaced.  He told me they were designed to do that.  My house is 5 years old I highliy doubt that ll three smoke detectors are bad.  He wanted $119 per smoke detector.  He also told me that I should have a surge protector on my tow fuse boxes out here in the desert.  He sad that all of my home electronics could fry from a power surge.  Those he could do for me for $119 per panel. Then he told me I really needed to have my fuse box cleaned.  I was so over it by then I did not even get a price.  

They were very good and the job was done well.
