Wes Clarke Plumbing

As a fiduciary overseeing other people's properties, usually in times of great stress, I have counted on Wes Clarke Plumbing for years. They have always been honest about what the scope of the problem is and they have always been fair in their charges. Whenever an issue has arisen during work, they have always taken the high road to resolve it. When a property has needed immediate attention, like a gas leak at a client's house recently, they were there instantly. I can't say enough good things about my experiences.

I had them do some contract work which they suggested and they were absolutely correct. The did a septic system  They are just very good. I called on a Sunday night, which they had an answering service. They called back within 35 minutes and within 15 minutes of that phone call they had a plumber here, and six minutes later she had it cleared. I asked why it would not clear, she explained and I asked for a quote and I had a quote the next morning. Just an outstanding company. She didn't charge me anything, she said it was too easy, just $75. Even on a Sunday nothing extra was charged. I gave her $100 and she said she couldn't take it. I asked if she had change, she said no, so I told her she had to take it. Just a straight shooter.

At 8:35 PM I called and left an emergency message with Wes Clark Plumbing and received a return call within 30 minutes (1 hour was promised) and arranged to have Colleen (plumber extraordinaire) come to our house to save the night and restore our plumbing. By 9:45 PM Colleen had cleared the blockage and the water was running again, Absolutely Outstanding!!

Unfortunately, they were unable to install the heater for several days plus a weekend which left us showering with cold water. I was surprised that they had no provisions for quick installations in situations such as this. The installation itself went quickly and efficiently. I will use them again because generally they are quick to respond.

1/27/2013: We called Wes Clarke Plumbing based on family and neighbor recommendations.  They scheduled a plumber visit for the next AM. The plumber arrived on time and was able to fix all of the problem sinks and showers within three hours. He was neat and said he would keep the hard to find cartridges in stock for future repairs.  The final cost was about half for labor and half for parts.

Update on 1/20/14:  Since the master shower handle cartridge was fixed, the shower head has begun dripping.  The plumber came back and fixed that at no charge.  We also had an outside hose connection that was stripped.  The plumber did not have the exact handle and gave us a lever that was different, but worked.  After he left, it was slightly leaking at the connection.  We phoned and he came back.  After he left the second time, my husband turned on the hose and water spewed out from the sides.  The connection was on so tightly that it could not be undone.  We called the plumber back a third time and finally it was fixed.  

After this last encounter, I'm not sure we would use Wes Clarke again, or if we do, we might ask for a different worker to come out.  We expected the work to be done correctly the first time and not have to be home waiting for multiple service calls.
