Great. Job was a little trickier than I expected and they did a good job of explaining what was and was not possible to do. They were on time, on budget, and created a minimum of mess considering that cutting concreted is a messy job. Would highly recommend them.

Contractors who have ANY ratings on Angie's List are uncommon here in Palm Springs, much to my surprise, because in the city from where we moved, Angie's List is heavily used. I found United Brother's in the phone book and they claimed to have been in business many years, so I called. 'Lalo' first came with his entire crew to look the job over. They were always on time. What I wanted to do was a bit tricky, but they suggested the best way to come as close to what I wanted considering a concrete saw is not like working with a jig saw. He emailed me a quote within 24 hours and the price was reasonable. I solicited another bid, which turned out to be nearly twice as much. I told Lalo he had the job, and he said his crew could start at 7:30am the next day. Wow! For my neighbors sake, we waited until 8:30. Lalo showed up with his crew, marked the lines for cutting, and his crew got to work. Lalo checked in with them by phone periodically. They finished by 12:30 pm. Great job. Crew was very polite, professional, consulted with me when necessary, took care to put plastic sheeting around the work area since a concrete saw is messy, and cleaned up afterwards very well--better than I expected. As far as I'm concerned, they are top notch and I'd highly recommend them.
