Merry Maids of Palm Desert

The person I talked to, Dotti, was very very bizarre in her email communications (I still have all the emails). She would make comments like 'we will TRY to do a good job'. The housekeepers couldn't get the job done in the time allotted. Not all rooms were done, carpets not vacuumed, tables still had glass rings on them, the ceiling fans and the tops of the furniture, cabinets, and desk had dust, etc. My house is 1,500 sq. ft., we don't cook and are hardly home. There's no clutter and it's just my husband and I living there. Dotti kept telling me that it would cost more money for her team to do a better job! 
When I first hired Merry Maids, there was a coupon on their website that they didn't even know about and refused to honor.

I was never given the $50.00 off the 4 cleanings. I fired them after that.
They were brutal with electronics. It was frustrating coming home and finding that the computer didn't work or the TV or cable box either because when they clean, they would just pull on things or lift them up and didn't even care if things got disconnected!
This company is very good with excuses...very bad experience! Wouldn't recommend!

They were on time and did a good job.

It was a terrible experience. They arrived on time but did a bad job at dusting. I had to point out areas that they had already cleaned which were still dusty. When they left, the house looked relatively clean. As the sun set on the shower doors, I could see that they were not cleaned. When the sun rose the next morning, I could see that they had completely missed the wooden base of my dining room table. Then as I was making my bed, I found stains on my bed cover. I called the owner and she sent one of the original people and another to inspect. They cleaned the shower doors and the dining room table. As far as the bed cover was concerned, she had leaned on the bed to clean the headboard and got lotion from her legs on the cover. As the company only has industrial washers I was left to clean the cover myself. I have never been contacted by the owner or received an official apology or any type of compensation. I think this is a terrible way to run a business. I will never used them again and will discourage anyone I know from using them.

MERRY MAIDS CAME OUT TO THE HOUSE AND SPENT FOUR HOURS. THEY CLEANED THE KITCHEN AND THE BATHROOM SHINY. THEY MADE MY HOUSE LOOK GOOD FOR THE DATE THAT I HAD THAT NIGHT.

I CALLED MERRY MAIDS AND WAS ABLE TO GET A LAST MINUTE APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THEM COME OUT TO MY HOME. THEY CAME IN AND WITHIN THREE HOURS MY HOUSE WAS CLEANED VERY THOROUGHLY.
