It went well. On time. On budget. Very good shaping of the customer expectations and then delivering on those expectations and promises well. Questions were very well responded to, from the quality of the materials, the expected performance of the materials, the installation process and procedural steps. You deal with the owner of the company in terms of the sales presentation. Chuck is professional and as a former military man, quite detail and procedure conscious, wanting to deliver a good product on time and while not inexpensive, on budget. No surprises for anyone and very little flexibility on Chuck's part are 2 things that result from Chuck's no nonsense approach. He works hard at not being a sales type wheeler dealer and then has a strict install procedure for his team. I very much liked the fact that at installation start, he arrived with his team, had me in the garage with them and as a team we went through what was going to be done, how it was to be done over 2 days and what he expected his team to do in terms of certain custom instructions. This was very professional. He, his team and I were all on the same page. The average company sends a team with a sheet of paper with instructions that may or may not match the sales pitch. Not Chuck La Salle. He is not the cheapest, but he is not much more expensive. And in my opinion is worth a little more ...... But remember you need to believe because he is not flexible ..... In a good way.

I would make a comment on the installation team. They were friendly men but during the install the amount of very raucous laughter could make you feel concerned. We felt a little laughter and team spirit was a good thing. But the amount and the length and the loudness was significant enough to make us nervous about quality and price. It turned out to be of no matter as all was on time, on budget and looked very good. But just know ... These guys can laugh it up a lot as they work.

Bottom line .... Good professional experience, slightly higher than average cost, professional, but strict approach in all aspects. Most of all, we would use them again because they say what they do and do what they say and have a quality focus.

Well, there were sort of two coats put on the house depending on what you mean by two coats. It was sort of sprayed twice in quick succession but one can see light and dark patches of old paint showing through the cornice at the roof line (off-white was painted over off-white so there is no excuse for this bad job). So, I really don't feel this was two coats. Bird stop flashing at the roof tiles was painted over in about 10 areas due to bad masking and I have to fix that myself, they told me a sponge and water would do it. Yeah, right. Door knobs were painted around rather than removed (there were only four). This is what an amateur painter does. I was told they don't remove old doorknobs due to possible damage but my house is only 9 years old. Now I have to remove the door knobs, try not to damage the new door paint and scrape off the paint from the door knob surrounds. Gasoline stains were left on my new quartzite patio from the paint compresser causing me to have to hone off the quartzite to reduce the 10 stains. My new stove top vent had a damper that was sprayed shut so I had to cut that open before the paint completely dried. A new 1/16 inch foam seal had to be ordered and I installed it and was reimbursed $20. The garage door was painted the wrong color due to a mistake by the paint supplier, but now my door has one proper color coat over the wrong color and it still does not look right. Seals on my doors were removed and put back badly so now I have air and sand coming in. For the second highest priced bid I expected some supervision by an english speaking person and better quality. When I say and quot;english speakingand quot; I am not being racist. For example I told the workers to lift my 19th century cast iron settee on both ends due to fragile legs and one minute later they were dragging it across the patio. Understanding english does count. If you want a paint job like this you can get it for $1800 and get the same quality. Price does not equal quality in the Coachella Valley. I am now going to get on an 8 foot ladder in 100 degree heat at the age of 61 and fix the over painting of roof flashing, then I will re-paint the areas of light paint application to get an even look in the most obvious areas of the building cornice. PS. I painted the front door myself for this price on a 2000 sq. ft. one story home. My neighbors got better work for less money. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I requested exterior painting of my gates from the business. I was sent one of the employees to do the job but the employee told me that his boss had told him he could do the job as a side gig and keep the money, so I wrote a check out in the worker's name. I asked for a receipt and he said he would send me one. I didn't receive it, I called him and asked for a receipt again. He said he would send it. I didn't receive it. I called the business and requested that the person I originally spoke to have the worker send a receipt. I received neither a response not the receipt. Very unprofessional in my opinion and I am not into game-playing. I still don't have a receipt.

La Salle Painting showed up when they said they would. The estimate was in the form of a legal contract. They were not the cheapest of the 4 estimates we got, but they were not the most expensive either. They were prompt, and left the area clean every day, and when they were finished. My neighbors were amazed at how nice our home looks, and how clean and tidy the are is. They also painted around all of our landscaping, and did not break a limb. I am looking to use them again for some inside work.

We live in a 1540 sq ft. house. We bought new in 1990, and the house has not been painted since. We had stucco issues, and the normal wear and tear of the exterior. Our home is warm now, and we are now in the 2012's! There is not a crack, or bald spot anywhere. The reason it took a week is due to the unusual weather conditions in the Desert right now.

I was very happy with the job that Chuck and his crew did in my garage. They cleaned and chemically etched the floor, filled in all the cracks and then applied a two part epoxy with a polyurethane finish. They moved a bunch of stuff around and didn't complain about it. Punctual and professional. We could now eat dinner off our garage floor if we wanted to. Process took three days, but plan on a week before you can park your car inside the garage again. I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
