Job was performed on time / on schedule. The price was pretty much in line with the other two I received and all promised a cash discount which I received. I do have one very minor issue - but on a scale of 1 to 100 this issue is a 1-5 so they can fix when they come out in the fall to do fall service.

Miguel was great. Informed me of all options and helped me decide. The quality of work was outstanding and they went above and beyond, but didn't inflate my bill. I called Miguel to get a second bid. He was substantially lower.

Used this company twice and I won't use anyone else now.
They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. They will give you an honest estimate of what needs to be done and provide you with options but they will not charge you for things you don't need.
They came out and estimated the cost of a new water heater (mine was over 20 years old). They gave me a lot of information and I hired them to do the work. They installed the water heater and were exact to the estimate.
When my dad called and said the air conditioner was not working and it was a terribly hot day in the desert, they were willing to send someone out to the house even though they were fully booked on a Saturday in order to help.
I was so worried I was going to get a call that this was going to be expensive.
Turns out it was as simple as the furnace door was not properly shut so the safety mechanism did not allow for the unit to come on.
Essentially costing me nothing!
I will continue to only use this company because I trust they care about the work they do.
I highly recommend them.

We needed to replace the 27 yr old HVAC on our new condo purchase. We went through this about 3 yrs ago in our home in Seattle so had some background knowledge. We spoke with 4 contractors, all of whom we really liked, but chose Desert Tech for the following reasons. (1) We liked the high level of technological knowledge and experience of the owner, Miguel. He spent quite a bit of time explaining desert HVAC systems and calculating the actual size needed for our unit. Our old unit was 5 ton. We had recommendations from 3.5 to 5 tons from the other contractors, but Miguel really detailed why staying with the 5 tons would be an advantage, but was willing to install a smaller unit if that was our decision. (2) His crew was highly experienced and professional. They made the comment to us that their installations were very precise as that was required by the owner. (3) He bid was the lowest. 4) He gives a 2 yr labor warranty vs 1 from the other contractors. (5) Miguel listened to our concern of not wanting a complicated thermostat and re-installed a 2nd one. He also came out several days later, reviewed and explained the functions for best efficiency. We also appreciated that he spent extra time giving us tech tips on closing up our condo for the summer. (6) We felt that he is honest and had a high degree of integrity so if there were any problems in the future he would make them right.
We would not hesitate to refer anyone to Desert Tech.

My old roof mounted HVAC system was 30+ years old and had bit the dust. I did some homework and came up with two highly rated providers off of Angie's List. Desert Tech was the second quote I obtained. I ended up being about $350 lower than the other company but what impressed me was the attention to detail and level of customer support Desert Tech provided.
Right from the initial inspection and estimate it was clear that Miguel (Owner) knew his business. We had several conversations on the phone and he took a lot of time to answer questions and explain what would need to be done. The old system was a sloppy installation and there were some issues discovered with the ducting. Some of these problems were apparent from the initial inspection and included in the estimate and some additional ducting issues were found once the old system was removed. They did the job right and spent a couple extra hours to fix the hidden issues at no additional cost to me. I had guests arriving within a few days of signing the contract and Miguel and his crew had it finished on time despite the short flow.
Desert Tech uses only two tech installers who have both been with the company for years and the quality of work was superior. Before and after pictures are taken further reflecting this.

We have been using Desert Tech here at Wally's Desert Turtle for over 15 years. We use them for all of our refridgeration and HVAC needs.
