D &S FABRICATORS

I went to several companies from Palm Springs to Cathedral City to Palm Desert. I got responses from 'We don't really want to do your project (because I had my own fabric)" from Nugent's in Palm Springs to getting bids from $185 to $425! I didn't really trust the quality of the $185 bid, so D and S was the next lowest at $285. I was very impressed with their operation and felt comfortable leaving my chair with them. They said it would take about 3 days to do the work and they could start it in about a week. They talked me into leaving the chair with them right then with the thought that they might be able to work it in early. Well, that didn't happen and I was a little disappointed that I lived without the hari for a week unnecessarily. I would have preferred to just bring it back to them on the day they could commence work. However, this is not their fault; I chose to leave it to save myself a trip. In the end, they did start work on the day they said they would and finished it in the promised amount of time. It looks great and I believe they did a good job, especially since the fabric I gave them to use (Crypton) was not the easiest to work with given the design of my chair. I believe I got good value for my money.

They were very, very satisfactory and very good. I was very pleased with them. I would certainly recommend them for upholstery. They were very prompt and they did excellent work. The price was very fair. I would certainly use them again.
