Men removed the a few pieces of paper that were in the drain, which allowed a small flow to penetrate, so it worked for a couple of months- the odd thing is instead of going through the clean out with right bit, which would have resulted in a good job..
At the end of two months I called and asked for them to return as the same issue arose with the same toilet.
They said" No guarantees on drain cleaning and I was advised that the sat charge would be $65 Extra, " I asked and the charge for the rooting for the toilet, and Rochelle replied with a number. I said, " So the total would be almost $400 to clean one drain on Sat?" She said "Yes" Anf you don't provide any gurantees on cleanout? She said " No"
I told her that was not going to happen and called another service who came and went right to the cleanout, use a root bit fixed iit as was gone- He showed me the roots and told me the you might have to do this every six or eight months.
He spent 10 minutes working and fixed it, the Hargerty guys spent an hour were on the roof and did an subpar job- even though I showed them the clean-out- What is up with that? Was the motive economic or lack of knowledge? It
Look, it my experience Hegary is out for the buck, does not stand by its work and sends out unqualified and inexperienced plumbers that was my experience.
I will never use them again

After partially clearing the clog, he used the camera to look in pipes. He could not get all roots out of pipe. 3/4 of pipe was still clogged with roots. He said he could dig, replace, seal pipers for a price I thought was high. I called back after technician left because washer machine when drained was making toilet bubble. Technician said it was due to the roots that were still in there. To clear an seal sewer pipes, I am getting other bids.

They're horrible. I had put a paperclip on it until we could call a plumber/ When I got home my husband said that the plumber came and fixed the toilet, so I asked what did he do and he told me that he didn't know. I went in to clean it and went to flush it, but it wouldn't flush. I lifted up the lid and my paperclip was still in there. They didn't do anything and charged us $350, but you can put a new toilet in for that amount. I called them up and they didn't show up for an appointment, so I stopped payment on the check. I came to find out that it wasn't the secretary but the wife who called and she left a really nasty message stating that she was going to put a lien on our house. She also said that we were making it very difficult on them, but we didn't at all. They did finally show up again and he came with one of his workers. The owner went out to the truck and the worker came over to me and whispered in my ear not to worry because he was going to make sure that it worked. The owner didn't know how to do it and it still doesn't work properly, but I just don't want them back in my house again. At the time we just couldn't get another plumber because everyone was busy and had full schedules. The one that we normally used just couldn't get out even though my husband thought he needed it right away, but we really didn't because we have three other bathrooms. I saw the reviews that he has and thought that it could not be possible and it has to be relatives or someone writing it in. I work in real estate and have been in it for like 20 years in the Valley, so I know a lot of the contractors. I know all the good plumbers and I've never heard of Hegarty, but I had my husband call and he did. I just think it's a disservice having him rated so highly because I know I had problems with him and it wasn't one of his workers, but it was him. They were just nasty. I asked him why he didn't tell us how much it was going to cost in the beginning or recommend a new toilet, but he said that he did. I told him that he did not and my husband knows how to handle everything because he was CFO for a school district, so he worked with schools and all of that in our area. He knows very much how to handle a contractor, but this contractor not only lied but cheated us out of $350 and a toilet that's not working. My husband just had heart surgery and the owner came over and asked was something wrong with him, so I asked what he meant and it just really offended me. He had heart surgery, but he's not stupid. He has a BA plus two Master's Degrees and almost his Doctorate. He's not stupid and he ran the school district. I was really offended at him calling my husband that. It was disrespectful for him to come to my home and talk like that. I pulled his license up thinking that he didn't have one, but he did although he surely didn't know anything about plumbing because the little guy that was with him was the one who was trying to fix it. I had put the paperclip on the inside where the chain was to lift up the little thing so the water could flow through, which is where he was supposed to put new guts in but he didn't. I don't know what he did that day and I don't think he did anything. I think he just charged my husband $350. I should've taken him to smalls claims court, but my time is more valuable than that. The second time around he put that he suggested replacing the valve and flapper, but that it would be $90 more in material. He then states that he returned and installed said above items today at no additional cost, but that was what he should've done in the first place. Now he states that the husband says he doesn't remember and that's why we're not charging him. They're just covering butt in case I did take them to smalls claims court. They also put down no guarantee on their work. I would absolutely not use them in the future. He had a little attitude issue and I wasn't comfortable with him in my home at all. He was talking about my husband and the way the wife called and left such a nasty message I just don't want to deal with them anymore.

I called them on Sunday because I noticed my water heater was dripping at a good pace. The dispatcher asked me how long it took to fill the container I had catching the drip and it was then determined that I could wait until Monday and not pay the $150 Sunday service fee. The young man came on Monday within the 2 hour appointment window. He was very presentable, had a logo jacket, and left a business card. He explained the problem to me and how he would fix it and the total cost. It is an old water heater and we discussed a new one, but I was never pressured to purchase one. He only told me the cost of a new one, and offered a senior discount. The repair to my existing water heater was made and the work area was left very clean. When I do replace this water heater or need any other plumbing services, I will be calling Chris Hegarty.

2/13- I was having issues with my hot water heater so after reading the reviews I called Hegarty. Carlos showed up on time and got the hot water heater working again... But did not actually FIX the problem...but I temporarily have hot water for now. The problem is when he was cleaning up the mess with his shop vac, he didn't have the filter on so after he left all the "dust" settled on EVERYTHING. Walls, counters, floors, furniture, up my nostrils from breathing it in, on my toilet seat, everywhere! I called Hegarty and spoke to the dispatcher and she said that she could send her cleaning people out to clean the black charcoal s*** off of everything or I could call my own and she would mail my personal check back to me. I opted to have my own come the next day and when she got here said OMG...you may need to paint the walls. I ended up having to throw out a light colored chaise lounge and several other items because the black charcoal was just smearing on the fabric furniture. 2/20- So today I log onto my online banking and see that Hegarty cashed my check when they said they would mail it back! I spoke to Hegarty and they apologized and said that they would send me a check. 2/21- I received the check in the mail made out to "Cindy".... not even my first or last name. Now i'm even more p*****. 2/22- I called Hegarty again and they are just stupid. The gal said that she didn't have any paperwork with my name on it when they issued the check (even though I have an invoice with my name on it) so i am now waiting for someone to drop off a new check. They are lucky. I should be sending them a bill for having my walls painted because some of the black charcoal is still on them as well as a bill for having to throw out a chaise lounge that was unsalvageable because it was light colored. I will also post this on yelp and yahoo and bbb. P*****!

Overall, I give Chris the highest marks for doing the work. It was much more expensive than I thought it would be but it was the same story with the other plumber's estimates.
Chris showed up promptly at 7AM and was finished about 1:30 or 2 PM. Everyone worked non-stop - there was no standing around or BSing - it was all business. I watched a lot of the work being done and was very mpressed by how well the 4 men worked as a team.
I would highly recommend Chris to anyone for a Pelican system install and based upon his professionalism, for any other type of plumbing work. I will pass his name on to my neighbors and friends.

They showed up 15min before the said they would with coffee and bagels for me and my wife. They went right to work and comtinues non stop. Covering everything in the house with plastic and the floors with paper, cleaned and swept after every operation. I had lost a escustion plate for the washing machine, I asked Chris where I could buy another one, well he made an extra trip to our house to give me a free replacement for the one I had lost. Even the paperwork was on a professional lever. Would use them again in a minute.
