Horrible experience. Family had used them before, this time a NIGHTMARE!!! Lost things. Broke things. Delivered our personal items from storage to a rental house we no longer lived in and that was sold. Our belongings sold with house and disappeared!!! Paid quote that included insurance in advance - during move given piece of paper to initial and sign that denied insurance. So now they refuse to compensate us for the thousands upon thousands of our personal belongings that they lost. Completely incompetent. Totally negligent. Try Russell instead. Wetzel is TERRIBLE and they conduct shady business practices!!

First, I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of guys to pack and move my two bedroom apartment. Christian and his team arrived on time and they were professional, clean, courteous and efficient. From the moment they arrived, they started working right away without wasting any time. They were careful with all of my belongings and they took the time to wrap each piece of furniture with plastic wrap. For past moves I have packed everything myself, but this time I needed the movers to pack the kitchen, clothes, bedrooms, and office because I was physically disabled. They packed everything at least as well as I would have done it myself. Hands down the best movers I've ever used. Prior to the move Matt came to my apartment to look over my belongings and sent me a thorough written estimate of the costs. He suggested that they pack one day and deliver the next day to save me money by avoiding over-time charges. The estimated move time and the quoted price were dead on. They are honest and don't try to rip you off! The other moving companies that I spoke with only gave me an hourly rate over the phone and said that the packing materials were extra. They wouldn't provide an estimate of the total cost. Aton (in the office) did a great job of keeping me informed all through the process and everything was communicated to Christian and his team.

Could not have gone better. The team was professional and courteous at all times. The pricing was fair and the company is great at communications and keeping the whole team on the same page. A great company to work with.

I called and Armando came to the house and provided a moving cost estimate.  After accepting the estimate, I called the office and arranged for packing, loading and moving dates.  The process was flawless:  Packing, loading and unloading went as promised.
All schedules were met.  The personnel were professional and efficient.  
This is our best moving experience.

I would say overall these guys did a great job. I liked that they took the time to wrap each piece of furniture (and not just with soft blankets but some with plastic wrap). They were able to handle some VERY heavy pieces of furniture, including a baby grand piano---moved from an upstairs condo to another upstairs town home! It was a complicated move as they had to move half of our things to our new rental and then go to a storage unit. (which btw, were amazing with rearranging and organizing everything in the storage rental to fit! It was packed BUT we didn't' need to rent another storage unit because they did such a great job packing it:)) Liked that they were very professional and wore uniforms. Only had one minor damage to an armoire that I was surprised they got into our new rental place! I took pictures and they did too…called them next week and they sent 2 guys to fix it. (scratch/dent in wooden armoire) and they did an EXCELLENT job! Can't even tell there was any damage to it! The only thing that I wish they did was cover the carpet with some plastic so not to get it dirty as they were moving our baby grand in. I think they either forgot or I was suppose to request that---which I assumed that it would be done without me telling them. That would be my ONE NEGATIVE...Didn't smell smoke on the men like I usually do with movers after a lunch break which was great.:) They are very prompt and would use them again in the future.

I was pregnant and on bed rest and they came and packed having to work around me laying on mattress...(yes, awkward lol) and moved us to new location. The first thing they did at new location was get me set up on mattress before they unpacked the rest of the house. Great crew!!!

My sister and I were in town for a brief trip to help our aging uncle clean out a house packed to the brim. We needed a quick-response mover to help with the larger pieces: 4 tall bookcases, 2 smaller ones, 3 file cabinets, a desk, two end tables, a coffee table, and a larger-than-life (the '80s called and wanted it back) heavy oak behemoth of an entertainment center, all of which had to be navigated out of a 750 sq. ft. itty bitty house with narrow doors. We found a review on Angie's List matching our small move needs and called Wetzel and Sons Moving and Storage, Inc. We spoke to Michael Rosen who was very helpful and worked us into their schedule on very short notice, understanding we needed as much time as possible to unload and pack and clear paths. The movers (Joey and Sal) arrived on time, were cheerful, friendly, courteous, and professional, and worked their motto: and quot;load and goand quot; to the hilt. The estimated move time was dead on. So was the price. We'd use these guys again in a heartbeat.

They were excellent. They disposed of large pieces we didn't want and helped move extra items. All pieces securely protected. Real professionals.

This was actually my second time with them, since I was so pleased the first time. The crew showed up at 8 am as promised, took a look around, and decided that one more person should be added to speed up the packing. This may sound like an up-sell, but the reason was that if the move lasts longer than 8 hours, they charge quite a bit extra for labor. In the end, the advice was warranted since the packing did take a longer time than expected.The entire crew was incredibly friendly, professional, careful, and clean. They packed every last item with care and nothing was damaged. After four hours of packing and loading I met them at the new place, after a lunch break. The unloading was quick, with the lead crew member asking several times if I needed to move anything to a different room, or if there was anything more they could help with.
I have no complaints at all, but one suggestion. I didn't receive a complete estimate, showing the cost of the packing materials and how they charge for the transportation. It ended up being more than I estimated in my head, but was in line with their policies and I felt I got a great service for the price.

We had a wonderful experience with Wetzel and Sons, from the very beginning to the very end of the move. They were very professional and courteous on the phone. We had an estimator come to our home and they were very punctual. We got a thorough written estimate of the costs.

The packers came promptly the day before the big move, and they quickly packed up all the remaining items (kitchen, etc.). When they were done, they gave us an invoice showing us the exact cost for the packing.

On moving day, the movers showed up on time - they quickly and efficiently got everything loaded onto the two trucks (including the piano). They carefully dismantled and wrapped the piano. Before leaving, they did a walk through with me, to make sure that we had gotten everything.

At our new home, they quickly got everything off the truck. They carefully got the piano into the house (through the backyard, and they spent quite a bit of time that it was placed exactly to our specifications. We got an invoice of the total move costs when we paid the bill.

We were very happy with the whole experience. The whole staff at Wetzel and Sons was very polite and professional. We only regret that we could not give them an A+ on Angie's List.

As an update, they contacted us that they had found a box on the truck with some of our items. In my haste of unpacking on moving day, I gave them back a box that I thought was empty. There were a few more items, and they contacted us about them. They very kindly agreed to drop this box off at our house for us. That is incredible service, which deserves to be commended!

They were very professional. I didn't use them because their quote was more.

I used them before they I knew they were on Angie's List. They scratched a table and ruined it. They lost an entire toolbox and 3 dog gates. They gave me $200 to replace these and thought it would be able to replace these items. They also ruined a very specialized and priceless trainset and said they would give me $.60/pound. He wanted to talk about insurance on the actual moving day, which I wanted to do prior to moving. None of the movers could speak English. The owner will not speak to me and gave me a 5% discount. They did not follow the directions on upacking and opened my private information.

2 friendly guys arrived on time, wrapped the items that needed wrapping, lloaded the truck and drove to the new house. Our new place has a flight of stairs and I was so impresses how they were able to carry everything up. They even brought the washer and dryer up the stairs. They were really fast and professional. They were a referral from a friend who had them box things up for their move -she said they did a great job. I have referred them since, and again it was a good experience. They were careful with everything.

Their services are superb. They're excellent and responsible and nothing breaks. I let them pack my finest crystal because I knew they could do it better than I could. They're great and it was a big move. By the time they arrived, we had to change the hole moving plan because I had not done any packing myself. They accommodated me and they worked for three days straight. It was an awesome experience. They're not cheap, but they're worth every penny.

They showed up a few minutes early and figured out their route to my apartment as I live on the second floor of the building. They covered my carpets so they wouldn't get anything dirty. They were so fast! They moved all of our stuff (we had a lot!) and packed it into their truck. We met them at our new house and they unloaded everything just as fast. They even suggested that they put out our couch and we should sit and have drinks while they unload! lol. They were very careful with all of our stuff and very careful with the house when they were bringing everything in.

These guys are fantastic and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

They were very nice. They were very professional, but just a little too pricy for us. We ended up going a different route.

They arrived on time and were very professional. We had tons of other stuff that had to moved. From the third floor to the basement. They did it quickly and neatly. The best part was the price. I had called several other Angies List companies that had good ratings, but all of them without exception had to charge a 3 hour minimum. Well, when you're just moving stuff within your house (granted very heavy and sometimes delicate stuff), it just doesn't feel right to pay for 3 hours when it might only be an hour. Wetzel agreed to charge me for only a one hour minimum. Although I'm not sure if this is standard or whether it's because I had used them in the past. They were top notch. Super professional. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

I heard and read horror stories about other moving companies holding items hostage or not being careful or dillegent during the move. I chose Wetzel because all of the reviews were stellar.

I had an amazing experience from dealing with the office staff (Nicole) to the movers. Nicole was extremely professional. She answered all of my questions without hesitation. I felt like she went above and beyond. She had her guys deliver moving supplies to my work place because I work long hours and I didn’t have the time to stop by the warehouse during normal business hours. I had a tentative move date due to escrow delays and she understood and didn’t give me any kind of grief over it.

The movers (2 guys) arrived 10-15 minutes bright and early. From the moment they arrived, they started working right away without wasting any time. They gave me some extra boxes and helped me pack a few remaining items. If you are worried about expensive belongings, these guys are the ones for you. I honestly haven’t seen such a level of extreme care exhibited by anyone. They were meticulous with handling all items, from furniture, to fragile boxes, to the fridge.

I am extremely impressed by this company. The level of professionalism they exhibit is unmatched. They arrived at the new home just in time and unloaded everything in about an hour. They worked very fast and efficient. They helped me put a stand on my TV and they hooked up my fridge.

Especially during a stressful time like a move, you want someone to make you feel comfortable using their services. Wetzel and Sons was definitely the right company. I will only use them again in the future and I’ve already recommended them to a few friends.

Four men arrived on time at 8:00 am, did last minute packing and moved to our new house at Encino. All were very professional and worked hard. Driver was Harold, and he was very helpful.

They were great. They showed up on time when they said they would. They were really efficient. It was a great experience. It was 3 great guys that showed up and gave me the perfect move. It was excellent. They were safe and reliable. It was a fair price. Their price was pretty much the same as everybody else. I would definitely use them again.

This was a painless move. They did an excellent job packing my kitchen and the rest of the apartment. Nothing was broken and they were prompt and professional. I would use them again and have recommended them to my friends.

The amount of boxes and furniture to be moved was small, however there was a piano that had to come down a winding staircase and a spa weighing approx. 875 lbs. It was also a very emotional move, due to a divorce, and the men were respectful, professional and compassionate. They were on time, on task and finished in exactly the estimated timeframe. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

They are outstanding! I would not use anyone else. I recommend them for moves of all sizes. They are especially good for storage.
