The work was great. Izik and his team showed up on time, listened intently to what we needed and created a great hand rail up a set of curved stairs.

Perfect. Came out gave an estimate. Promised installation by Valentines Day and was two days early. Gate looks great. Workmanship is top notch.

Phase 1 of the fence was perfect.  we paid about half the cost for this portion of the work and the spacing was according to the contract 3" which is specifically what we had written into the contract.  
We then singed up for phase 2 which was the largest part of the work and much more fencing and gates.  we specifically asked for the same sizing as the phase 1 work and we made sure it was added to the contract to keep the sizing the same.  So that it matched P1 but more importantly so that our dogs to not escape.
They changed the size of the spacing to 4" in phase 2 which was not agreed to.  we were out of the country when they completed and they keep pestering us for payment so we made the final payment without being on site to inspect and when we got back and saw the sizing issue we contacted them but they said they cant fix it now as its too expensive and cant be redone/  they offered to put chicken wire around the fence.  After spending more than 20K i dont see why i should have chicken wire around my year.  
The contract specifically states 3" and we have that singed by both parties.  we plan to take them to court and sue them for breach of contract.  We also would not deal with them again as they were very unethical basically telling us its our problem now and we cant do anything about it since its too late.  They basically came back and said tough luck you cant do anything about the mistake.

We very much loved working with this company. Initially with Jack's vision for our beautiful front railing.. To the gentlemen who worked hard at installation & the finishing touches & paint. Couldn't be happier.

Great. Men were on time & worked throughout the day to insure curve was correct and that railing would be safe.

I had used Universal Iron Works ten years ago and was impressed then. I've since moved to a new house and called them again to install a new iron security gate, and I'm still impressed. The owner Izik was the most knowledgeable installer that I had over for an estimate. I did get other estimates before Universal just to see what was out there and no one seemed to know their stuff like Izik. He made amazing suggestions, did design on the spot and was extremely thorough. . . just as he'd been ten years earlier. (I was amazed at other "5 star" people that came to do an estimate. . . some of them sent out reps that really didn't know their stuff, had no creative ideas and weren't entirely sure of their products. . . surprising actually since they were rated so high.) I'm thrilled with the new gate . . . super solid, and because of Izik's brilliant design idea, I now feel totally secure on the property. I think this thing could keep out a bulldozer! If you want a reliable, low pressure, competent, creative, well mannered and reasonable gate installer, choosing Universal is a no-brainer.

All the workmen were on time and professional. They attended to all questions and concerns. The whole process took longer then I expected but the outcome was well worth it. Neighbors have commented that "it is absolutely beautiful". "It is stunningly elegant" etc.
