I got him through the service provider that did the fabrication on the cabinets. The results were very mixed and not excellent. He was very inconsistent in his color and I had to work endlessly with him. We had to actually re-do the job. It was a constant battle and it took months to finish. It was the worst experience that I had in a long time. It was a terror. There was a misunderstanding at the end. I tried to be an honest and fair person but he had thought that we had an additional agreement besides the original one. When he brought all his work back and I asked him how much it was he said $1200. So, I wrote him a check for $1200 but he went ballistic and told me that $1200 was just for the extra job. I told him that we had to do the extra job because he had not done it properly the first time. It was awful and it was the worst thing that I had ever gone through. The work was just mediocre. He did not do his work very well in terms of matching the shades of the cabinet doors. He had made them in different shades during the staining process. I would not recommend him to others as I don't want anyone else to use his services. His original price was $2700 for staining thirty cabinet doors which I thought was excessive. However, he was punctual and would show up when he said that he would. My kitchen has been better than what it used to be although it is not the best.
