Work was of very high quality and professionally done. The price was not the lowest, but in this case you get what pay for.

Verdi does excellent work. They had done a beautiful job on the original installation of the hardscape and plantings in my backyard, and I'm very happy with the maintenance work that they do--makes the backyard look new again.

His crew and foreman, Carlos were prompt, courteous and expedient in performing their job. The quality of work performed on leveling the ground and placing the flagstones was quite good, but I was left a bit ambivalent about specific things about the end job. For example, they turned a 5 gallon plastic pot upside down and embedded it into the ground by the flagstones and tried to pass it off as a drain cover. Not only does this look cheesy cheap and ugly, (and unsafe, as my child liked to jump up and down on it and it was beginning to tear and break apart) it seemed altogether inconsistent with the quality of the job that one would expect. -- When you are paying thousands of dollars, an upturned plastic pot from home depot in your yard is not what you want or expect to see... Other aspects that I was disappointed with was Verdi's attitude when he came around to collect the check. -- He was not interested in addressing any of the issues I raised including the fact that his worker's left the yard lights not woorking, and even accused me that they were cheap and may not have worked before!! He just shrugged his shoulders... Overall, I think he and his crew do good work, but I think he would be better if he was more receptive to what the customer wants, and didn't leave little details unattended to... (the devil's in the details)...

He is quick and efficient. He gives excellent advice and spends a lot of time helping choose materials. He explains the pros and cons of different things and has a good eye for what's going to look good. He has a good crew. He and the crew are very friendly. He did beautiful work and his work is aging beautifully. It looks gorgeous and we love it.
