Sean Daly Painting

Sean took over from another contractor who had abandoned the project after getting a progress payment. It was a staining project for extensive fencing and decking and to top it all off the stain we were using is not easy to find. Sean stepped in and rescued the whole thing. He drove all over and made multiple calls to find someone to order the stain, made sure of the correct way to apply it (turns out the other guy would have made a mess of it by doing a commercial spray-on application), and Sean kept receipts to show us exactly how much he spent on materials instead of just quoting it like other contractors do. He came by daily to check on the job, his workers were quiet and respectful (sometimes i didn't know they were here!), and the work was absolutely meticulous. I'm a perfectionist and usually need to supervise contractors carefully to make sure corners aren't cut and details aren't forgotten, but this time I didn't need to - Sean takes so much pride in his work. Plus he's a pleasure to speak with. You can find painters who give cheaper quotes... but you get what you pay for! We'll definitely have him back.
