It took a couple of days and a couple of phone calls to get the work scheduled, and the electrician arrived a little late because of some confusion about my address.  But, once he arrived, the electrician did excellent work and he did it quickly.  He wasn't able to match exactly the color of my existing wall switches and cover plates, but the color match is close enough not to be distracting.  If I need more electrical work done, my first call will be to Granite Electric.

They were excellent. My picky wife appreciated how neat, clean and polite they were. Also, their ideas on replacing the box seemed to be the most sensible that we heard.

We worked with Granite Electric over a six month period upgrading our electrical outlets, lighting, eletrical panels, etc through out our house.  We are currently taking a break from renovation but will be hiring Granite back to designing and installing electrical system over the fireplace (which will also be demolished and rebulit).  Granite worked under our General Contractor, McEvoy Construction.  Granite worked will with all the GC and various subcontractors.  They helped us in designing our overall lighting system and were able to tell us what options the City would permit or not permit which made the process easier.  They were also present during any of the inspections so they could answer the inspectors questions and make adjustments accordingly.  They always arrived on time, their team was knowledgable and always tidy.  While the work was in progress, Granite's team was more than willing to allow us to add or change things as work progress and would always stop and ask to make sure we were ok with everything before installing fixtures or making holes for the recess lighting, etc.

They even went with us through our house and fixed, move or replace broken outlets and light/electrical fixtures.  Our light in our head board was broken and we could not find a replacement but Granite was able to take the unit to someone who fixed the unit and then Granite reinstalled it so it now works perfectly.
We did have one problem after Granite installed our Fire Alarm System, one of the units kept going off.  The City Inspector requested that we have  PG&E to do an overall check and when that came back all clear, Granite replaced the Fire Alarm Unit at no additional cost and its worked fine since.  There is always problems during a major renovation but Granite was more than helpful and cooperative during the process and we will be using them again in the future.

I called for an estimate. They came out within a reasonable time. Monique, who was the project manager, fully explained what they would be doing. I had a written estimate within a couple of days. I needed the work done quickly so they fit me into their schedule. They were very prompt and were here when they said they would be. Ken, the guy who did the installation, was very neat and cleaned up nicely. It was a two-day project so when he left the first day everything was picked up and clean, nothing was left out. I was very pleased with the job. I would hire them again.

We have used Rich's services twice in 2 years after having a horrible experience with wire works. Rich is professional and fair. His employees are also great to work with. They never leave a mess, put on booties without asking and overall have a great sense of professionalism.

Went very well - Rich Was responsive, offered some ideas for me to try to solve the issues before he came out, followed up, arrived as scheduled (even called my wife's mobile instead of ringing the bell and waking the baby!) - very professional in every way. Understand and agree fully with the top notch ratings for Granite Electric.

Needed to begin upgrading the electrical system of an 80-year old house; an estimate was given and I submitted a down payment of $500 to begin the work. The work was done quickly (2 days) and coordinated with the installation of a furnace. Additional sockets were installed as needed. The follow-up inspection went smoothly. A short discussion transpired on the extent of further work needed to bring the house up to current standards. I plan to hire this company again in the near future.

Richard did a good job. it was very messy cutting through the concrete-dust everywhere. He did his best to cover my furniture and helped me move a few pieces out of the room. Had I known it would be such a mess I would have preferred he seal the room off. ( just closed the french doors). Dust managed to get all through the house. But the job was done up to code, which was important.

They were fine. They came when they said they would. The only thing I didn't like is that he would not even set a date unless I gave him a 10% down payment. Once the date was set he came on time and finished it on time.
