Its always tricky to try a new vendor or look for a provider for a service you've never had a need for. Let me say, without reservation, that if you have any window questions, look no further than these guys.
I had a few sets of older, wooden windows, with cranks that no longer engaged the windows to open/close. The mechanisms were all internal to the window frame and we had no idea of the condition or types of repair necessary.
Provider was responsive on the phone to questions, and even came up with creative scheduling ideas to accommodate our schedule and get the job done faster than expected.
The first visit lasted a very short time while they inspected the windows, assessed what parts would be needed and promised to respond back once they knew whether the parts were available or required to order. Same day, a call came back with a confirmation of the parts and already working on proposed service scheduling dates.
They accommodated a BUSY work schedule on our part, and were at the property on time, ready to go. They completed a very complex repair/replacement incredibly promptly, with a minimum of disruption, and cleaned up the entire work site like new.

Short version - They knew what they were doing. They showed up when they said they would. And they did what they said they would, at a reasonable price.

Tony came out a week ago to look at the problems we were having with the French type sliding screen doors at the back of our house. The 2 sliding screens meet in the center but were continually coming off track and at least two of the wheels were damaged and others improperly located. As well, the locking mechanism was installed upside down.

The single sliding screen door of our small guest house in the back of our yard simply needed the screen replaced.

Tony showed up for the evaluation appointment on time, was friendly and knowledgeable. There was no charge for that visit.

Today he made the repairs, again arriving on time and quickly completed the jobs. We also asked him to look at another window that was missing a screen. Due to problems operating that window he recommend against bothering to have a screen made for it unless we felt it was absolutely necessary, which would require repairing the closing mechanism.

I would strongly recommend Palisades Screen and Glass. Their repairman, Tony, showed up both times on time, was professional, very competent and fair dealing.

The front door was in need of curb appeal improvement. The old glass looked outdated and it did not provide privacy. Tony's suggestions were great. He was prompt, professional and easy-to-work-with throughout the job from start to finish. The front door looks so much better.

Even the cost, at around $450, was reasonable and under what we were estimating.
All in all, a very pleasant experience - the guys were punctual, knowledgable and most importantly good-natured and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to others.

Very courteous and punctual, fixed problem to our satisfaction, would definitely use again

After almost a year of my client getting estimates and prices from this vendor as well as others, we finally asked that the project begin. Jerry who is the owner kept his cool even though it had to be quite trying to have us calling every few months and asking for changes in his bid, updates and giving him false start dates. After all of that, he and his colleague completed the orders of mirrors and sliding glass doors and arrived on time and in a jolly frame of mind and completed the installation with dispatch. This was not a big job, but we have used their services many times in the past. We have always been satisfied with the results. They are very accomodating, and their customer service is tops.

They were able to do 90 percent of the work onsite in one visit. There was one part that they had to order. They were able to order that and come back and install it when they said they would. Everything was as promised and worked out well.

The service went very well. Tony from Palisades initially visited for an estimate and to take measurements. He called back a few days later with an estimate that was 10% LESS than he quoted to me on his initial visit. Once the window was ordered and received (one week), Palisades called me and setup a time for Tony to install the new window. Tony was enthusiastic, honest, and a pleasure to work with...Palisades seems like a fine company to me.
