Absolutely awful. John needed 2 trips and showed up late each time. Wanted a 3rd trip to finish the job. Told my mother she needed a new bidet because the existing supply line would not properly fit and would leak. Fortunately she did not agree since someone else was able to buy and install an adapter for just $35. Unfortunately John charged my mother $560 for a basic toilet installation. To add insult to injury, we are going to have redo the installation. The wax seal is not tight so odor is coming up from the drain. A complete nightmare of an experience.

The first plumber from Palisades Plumbing did not know how to install a Waste King disposal!
The second plumber knew how, but arrived four hours late because the owner sent him to another job first without bothering to inform me. I wasted a whole day on a one-hour job.

We had a gas leak at the house in the Palisades.  The gas company shut the service down.  I called and spoke to Raymond, who recommended I call Goldak to come out and pressure test the service from the street into the house to track down the leak.   He recommended I speak to Mark at Goldak, who was very helpful.  They were able to come the house that afternoon.  The team(s) turned up on time, and were most professional and helpful.  Three guys worked hard and fast and located the leak.  Not satisfied with that they continued to pressure test all the gas piping in the house and outside from the incoming service.   The next day I called Raymond back and he arranged for his plumbing guy to come to the house and fix the problem that had been identified and tagged.  Which they did, quickly.  They commented that the "T" that was leaking was active to one side, and capped to the other so didn't need replacing.  They economically fixed only the part that needed fixing.  I respect honesty greatly.  It is a vanishing virtue today!   Overall the costs were reasonable.  Service was prompt. Communication excellent. People were charming.  All in all a great experience.  Thank you.

In a nutshell?  Palisades Plumbing provided a miracle today.  
My toilets all started bubbling and making gurgling noises this afternoon as my clothes washer began draining.  Sewage backed up into my bathtub, and I knew that I had a main drain clog.  I was in a panic.  
I reached Steve at Palisades Plumbing, and told him my plight. Now, I certainly realize that the level of immediate service I received can't always be the way things work.  But I must've called at just the right moment, because literally he was at my home within 10 minutes, assessed the situation, and started resolving the issue.  
He was very knowledgeable and very efficient.  He was familiar with the way the main drains had been designed in the houses in my neighborhood, so gave me recommendations on what measures should be taken in the future to more easily remedy this problem.  I felt the price was very fair.  And most importantly...my toilets flush and my laundry is successfully draining as I type.  
THIS is the reason to do business with our local neighborhood plumber.  They are nearby, they know your needs, and they care.  I'm thrilled.

Went very well. They were always very responsive, polite and punctual. They reacted very quickly to an urgent situation, but I found parts pricing to be quite high. That said, I would recommend them and I would use them again.

Palisades Plumbing came promptly, and gave a quote to do all the work, including the trenching. We opted to have our gardener do the digging - it was cheaper that way. Palisades Plumbing worked closely with the gardener, and came to install the new copper service as soon as the trenching was completed. We were very satisfied with the work done. They were professional and competent. I would have them return for other plumbing needs.

They came out right away.

I would not have them do anything complicated. I don't trust them enough to do anything of that sort. I would call them back for something small though. They were friendly, but I was worried that they would be tracking stuff inside, since they had a sloppy look to them. I think that the price was too high for a 15 minute job.

The good thing about them is that they are located nearby so if I have an emergency and call them, they come right away. I have never called anyone else so I do not know if what they charge is fair. I actually think that it might be what they charge in the area.

The new manager, Ray, has held up my whole renovation. Since my job needs to happen in stages, in tandem with a tile contractor's schedule, I'd asked to have one consistent plumber, and scheduled well in advance to make sure I'd get my usual guy (some of their plumbers are just so-so). Refusing to accommodate, Ray sent a different plumber to start the job, then yet another, who knew nothing about the job, to execute it. Because plumber two was in the dark, he arrived unprepared for the scope of the work, which lead to confusion and delay. Pointing out that this was exactly what I'd been trying to avoid, Ray barked that he didn't want to discuss it further, that I'd bought the wrong fixture (though it's a perfectly correct fixture), hung up on me, and pulled the plug on my job. Plumber 2 was so appalled, he came back on his own to apologize for the wrongness of what had happened. Now my tile crew has to wait while I find a new plumber. This, after being a loyal customer for 30 years!

I have used this couple for the last 20 years, and they are great. I believe they have fair prices, and they do a great job. I will highly recommend to others and will use them again in the future.

Company installed a new water heater that did not have the capacity to sufficiently do the job. We were over-charged for the work done. We had continuing problems over a two-month period with the new water heater. Pilot light would not stay lit; therefore, we continually had cold water. They would not help us solve the nightmare that they created. They would not give us straight answers to our questions. They would tell us that they would get back to us and would not phone us back. Instead of standing behind their work, they passed the buck to the manufacture and the Gas Co. Both referred us back to the company that did the installation. We finally had to hire another plumber and flush the cost of what we paid for first water heater. Job ultimately cost us THREE TIMES WHAT IT SHOULD HAVE. We were left extremely angry and our bank account considerably lighter, all due to what should have been a basic plumbing job: replace a water heater. We will never use them again!

WE PURCHASED THE TOILET OURSELVES AND THEY INSTALLED.

THE COMPANY SENT OUT A MAN NAMED STEVE TO FIX THE PROBLEM ON THE FIRST VISIT. HE SAID HE FIXED THE PROBLEM AND CHARGED ME $269. THE LEAK WAS STILL THERE SO STEVE CAME BACK OUT AGAIN AND CHARGED ME ANOTHER $150. AFTER A THIRD VISIT TO FIX THE LEAK HE CHARGED ME ANOTHER $84. THEY CHARGED ME A TOTAL $505 DOLLARS FOR ALL THREE VISIT, AND THE WORK WAS NEVER DONE PROPERLY. WHEN I CALLED THE OWNER HE SENT OUT ANOTHER PLUMBER NAMED RAY, WHO CAME OUT TO FIX THE PROBLEM RIGHT. HE DID AND CHARGED ME ANOTHER $200. I'VE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET A SOLUTION AND THEY WON'T RETURN MY CALL.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY SHOWED UP. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM.
