He said he would look for a pump because it would be quite costly. I found another price that was around six hundred. I found a new plumber and he checked everything out when he finished he started it back up and their was no problem. So I ended up not using them at all. I have been using them for many years and have never had a problem till this time.

Our furnace was not starting periodically. The initial service was to adjust the pressure at the gas valve at the furnace. This did not fix the problem and they were called again. On the second visit, after an hour of fiddling, the technician said there was a fault at the gas regulator feeding the whole house. Since we have two furnaces, I pointed out that this seemed unlikely. However, he insisted that it was the problem and that the gas company had to be called. Since he was already there, I asked him to replace the two air filters, normally $10 each at a hardware store. He said that, according to the fixed price in his rate book, it would cost me $90 even though he was already there. So, I declined. However, the two attempts to fix the furnace cost me $450.
I called another heating contractor the next day. Their technician promptly replaced the gas valve in the furnace which resolved the problem. Total cost for parts and labor was $275. I have never used Wilson again.

I got tired of trying and failing to snake out the kitchen drain, so I called in the pros. I actually called Rooter-something, but they sent Wilson's. A guy arrived after about an hour, ($50 consultation fee). He said it would be $169.90 to snake it out to the main. And rolled the $50 into that. He was friendly, knew his stuff. He gave me a lot of tips for avoiding and clearing future blockages. He ran into two blockages using a professional electric snake, and had the drain cleared quickly. Tested the drainage by filling the sink and taking out the stopper twice. The drain was very clear, and it's 40 year-old cast-iron. Left it cleaner than he found it. Applied a $25 discount. I paid $144.90. I haven't paid a plumber in a long time, so I don't know how competitive the price is. Therefore, my C rating for price is merely a guess. Takeaway points: speedy, successful, left it clean, friendly, $144.90.

We had insurance so we just paid our deductible. They were clean. They looked presentable and they did a good job. We most definitely would use them again.

We have used Wilson's when necessary for the last 15 years or so. They have replaced our hot water heater twice, the first one when we were in the house about 5 years, the last one last year. They have fixed and replaced bathroom fixtures, replaced our furnace, and fixed sink leaks and installed a garbage disposal. Their work has always been done efficiently, with  reasonable price quotes. Politeness and courtesy were evident in the young mens manner. I am totally happy with their professionalism and efficiency.

I can't really speak about the company overall, but the gentleman who came to install it was excellent. So, I guess by proxy they probably are a really good company.

I asked the young man from Wilsons to check the adjacent bathroom and he walked in an took a quick look around and said there was no leak. Then he looked in the adjacent laundry room and said there was no leak. I paid my $38 and he left.

While they are charging you for their services they are very professional and courteous. Once you question their charges, they do not respond.

We called in the evening (they advertise 24 support) three times, and never received a call back. The next day, an early morning call back was received, and an appointment set. The tech showed up on time. After quickly and correctly diagnosing a faulty gas control valve, the heater inspection began. The tech stated that the heat exchanger "had a hole" and carbon monoxide was leaking into our house, endangering our lives. The tech stated that a new heater was required, and a quote of $6500.00 was given. Also, the tech stated he could not do a temp repair due to the danger to our lives. A PG&E tech came and confirmed there was no hole, and no carbon monoxide danger at all. He also effected temporary repairs, giving us heat again. The tech also made several inappropriate comments to the lady of the house. Three other HVAC firms confirmed the gas valve failure, and also a thermostat not operating properly. A call was made to Wilson's to complain about the service and tech, but no follow up was received. The gas valve was eventually replaced (by another firm) for less than $400.00.
