Miracle Method of Contra Costa & Alameda Counties

We had an excellent experience with Miracle Method of Alameda County. Everyone was very professional and responsive. From my first contact, it was quickly evident that the company has been doing this for a long time with proven results. William was great; he provided exceptional work and was very respectful of our home. We were looking to update our bathroom for a reasonable price. Without having to spend thousands of dollars to rip out our bathtub and tile, we now have a clean white finish and our tub and tile look like new. Thank you Miracle Method! :)

I'm amazed at the results.  Tub looks great.  At first I thought the price was kind of steep but after seeing the work that goes into this, it's well worth the money.  It's a very dirty job and whatever chemical they use, is pretty strong and noxious.  You definitely have to air out the bathroom for at least a week.

It was a great experience from start to finish.  The shower pan is 35 old, and the finish was already shot when I bought the house years ago.  I'd already tried some do-it-yourself stuff from Home Depot on two previous occasions; that lasted a couple of years and then looked bad again.  So the next thing was to decide on a professional refinish or an overlay from Re-Bath.  
I went with Miracle Method, after reading their reviews and am very pleased with the outcome.  I never did take a close look at Re-Bath, so they might be ok too, but Miracle Method was a good choice for me. 
I spoke with Dean at Miracle Method, and he quoted me a price right over the phone after asking some questions in order to clarify the problem.  It was a very pleasant conversation and I felt confident about their service. 
We scheduled for the work to be done, and William (with 10 years experience) arrived promptly on the day of the work.  He was exptremely polite and professional. 
He parked in the street, even though I offered him the driveway.  He said just in case of any spills of their product during the work, he preferred the street.  That was good thinking and greatly appreciated.
He carefully brought his work materials into the house and went right to putting protective tarps on the bathroom floor and walls.  He covered everything except the shower pan.  It was a lot of prep, and then he began sanding off the old finish.  He worked in there for several hours, with trips to his truck as needed.  He got all the actual work done that day.  
He set a fan in the bathroom window to draw the lacquer smell outside, and recommended I leave that running overnight if possible, with the bathroom door closed. 
Then he came back the next morning to check his work and take down the tarps, and did a great job of cleaning up.   
It looks like a brand new shower in there.  And William went over some of the acceptable cleaning products with me.  This isn't a factory baked-on finish, so you have to read the five-year warranty and be mindful of what you clean it with; no harsh abrasives.  And, no shower mats with suction cups; those are very bad for this product, but easy to avoid.  Dean went over the facts about shower mats in the very beginning, so I knew how to work around that problem.  The maintenance is easy.      
I'm extremely pleased with how this work  turned out and happy that I chose Miracle Method of Contra Costa County.  I bought a shower squeegee and I use it after every shower, and just keep it clean.  The warranty doesn't say to do that, but I'm doing what I can to make this finish last even longer than five years.
Oh, and they stuck to the quoted price too; no surprises.

The service went very well. It took them two days to complete the job and they cleaned up very well. I would recommend them.

Explained the process thoroughly and answered all of my question. They reduced their price to get closer to another estimate I had received. They also included the non-slip floor at no cost. Very courteous and professional. Arrived promptly both days and finished the job on time. Did not require any payment until the job was complete and to my satisfaction. Turned out very nice and I would use them again for any future projects.

They were recommended by a friend and their work was very nice and it was a good experience.

They did a great job setting my expectations that it wouldn't look perfect when I got it back and it didn't.  It looks great though.  I can't tell where the holes are either.  They were friendly and easy to work with.  Only complaint is the price, because it was a lot higher than the other bids I got, but they couldn't fill the holes, so I had no choice.

It looks very nice. They made the inside all clean, white, and perfect. I love it!

I believe they're a franchise operation. In the master bedroom, it was an oversized bath tub and shower, the area around the shower, and another sliding glass door. I was satisfied with it, I was very impressed with the guy and it's just general for whatever sets of reasons. We've had part that were done, we had the bath done in the process of getting some painting done, I have to call the painter but everybody that had come to the house to the work had been extraordinarily good, much better than I've ever had experienced before. They had been excellent and I have no complaints. Maybe I just got lucky or maybe just the economy that they are pulling their best people and those are the ones that came but whatever it is, I don't have anything negative to say about any of the people that had done work for us and I hope that stays that way. I checked Angie's List for the checkbook which I looked at and they had pretty good sense of things by using the internet. What I would advice others is that for a lot of things they maybe better off using an alternative, for us trying to save, trying to cut back because we knew we're going to be tight for as money goes, we're going to be pulling out a lot of money to redo a bathroom, a tub and the whole thing with the enclosure that you're looking typically if you'll be looking at $10,000 easy. This came out about $3000 and it looks good, it would have looked better if it were all done in granite but under the circumstances, I'm satisfied with what we've got for what we paid. If they're interested in saving money and they're interested in refurbishing rather than replacing, then it's something they ought to consider and it might work for them or it might not, so I can't categorically say it's the best place you could go but I can say for us, it worked for us. For the work they did, I didn't see any flaws, the guy were extremely diligent, cleaned up very well, he worked like a horse all day long. The one negative thing about them which was really not their fault was the chemicals or whatever they used to spray on it is really potent, they did bring fans and stuff like that to make sure it was going to be outside and they had exhausted out, they did everything they could but you can't help it that the stuff is really potent. They told us ahead of time that was going to be the case.

This is a process that will cover up old stains or unwanted color in a kitchen or bath.  You don't have a lot of choice of color.  White and off-white are our choices.  However, it will save you work and expense of pulling out old tile and sinks.   I had the process done about five years ago and eventually some stains started to show up, so I had a touch up done.  The work done on the shower is still good.

This provider was excellent.  The provider promptly answered the phone and gave an appointment and estimate over the phone.  The appointment was for today between 1 pm and 1:30 pm.   He showed up at about 12:50 pm.   A pleasant surprise.  The provider sent over a young technician who was very professional and polite.  During the repair he often asked us to come and look at his progress.  When he was finished he asked if we were satisfied with the repair, otherwise we were not suppose to sign the work order.  To our complete satisfaction, the dents and scratches were completely erased.  Even though we knew were the damage was we could not find it.   The final price of the repair was exactly the quote we were given over the phone.  This was an excellent experience with this provider and we would highly recommend this provider to everyone.  We would use this provider again without hesitation.  Outstanding!!!!

The experience was good from the initial call. I was given a guote that day on the phone and that is the price I paid.  They were quick to respond and completed the job just as discussed on the phone.  William was very professional and conscientious (he put booties over his shoes and made me aware of when his work would be noisy.  He did an excellent job and the tub looks great.  I am well pleased and would highly recommend this company.  My thanks to Dave Gallagher and his crew at Miracle Method for a terrific job.

It was a relatively painless experience considering that it's my only bathroom but I'm happy with the results. 

Repaired and refinished a clawfoot bathtub. They provided an estimate, were professional and prompt in providing the services. It was a two day process and was completed on schedule. The tub looks great and I am pleased with the outcome. I would use them again. They also provided a $25 discount for Angie's List members,

I am pleased with my kitchen sink. James was professional and seems to be vested in doing good work.   Miracle offers two levels of service.  The first level is completed in one day.  You can chose to have them return and sand and polish.  I decided to wait and inspect the sink and decided then I wanted them to come back the next day.  There were numerous flaws due to specks of dirt.  That would not have been acceptable to me.  I wish I had had James keep the paper masking in place for the following day.  I imagine he needed to take the paint tarps to the next job.  But he did leave me the fan.  You won't want to be in the area for about 6 hours as the odor is very caustic.  The sanding and polishing did leave a fine white dust all over everything, even the floor, even though James indicated it would only impact the area closest to the sink.  That isn't true in my experience.  So you will want to do a good cleaning after the whole process is done.  That will be made easier if you remove all things from your counters or other flat surfaces to another room and make sure everything is covered.

I had to wait until they had someone available to do the work.    They couldn’t match the texture, but they matched the color of the tub.

I've used some others that didn't turn out so well.  I found them through the internet and I used him 4-5 times now, he was much better than the others.  He did a better job and it lasted much longer.
