martin's plumbing & rooter

I had Martin and his two guys install a bath tub, tub walls and a shower column. It should be noted that the price reflects that I provided all the rough in plumbing parts and the finished bath tub, walls, drain and shower column at my cost. Martin provided the tools, the labor, screws and caulking for the install. Martin called me within 10 minutes of my making an inquiry for service. He came over the next day to inspect the site and give my wife and I an estimate. By chance my wife was supposed to wait for him but she left the house and Martian had to wait 30 minutes for someone to let him in to our house. Many contractors would have left but Martian was patient and was happy to help us. Martian and his two guys showed up at the agreed upon time and installed everything. The installation was done faster than they originally quoted. When they left there were a couple of issues with cleanliness. they had taken down some dry wall but did not put it back up. They also left caulking on the bathroom counter. Also the toilet was knocked off the drain. I did not notice this at first. However, after they left I had a chance to inspect the install and I had some concerns about how the tub and walls were installed. Martian talked me though my concerns and they also agreed to make a couple of adjustments in the install to satisfy me. They cleaned up everything that was left wrong. They also switched out the drywall screws used at install for galvanized screws. while the drywall screws were the type with magnesium on it, I felt more comfortable using a screw that was galvanized and was set up to be a sacrificial anode in case of contact with water.The former may have been fine but I really don't ever want to go back and repair this. Martian made all the changes I request at his expense. These were the reasons a I gave a B grade on quality and professionalism. The screws and the not cleaning up thoroughly. Other than that I would give this crew straight A's. I would not hesitate recommending their services anyone who needs a plumber. I also plan on using his services again when we remodel our master bathroom.

Replacing this water heater was an all day project for two guys plus Martin. The old venting for the power vent had to be removed and closed up. The system required new gas piping to 3/4 inch and new venting. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was finished. Also they were the first to respond when called.  I called many plumbers that were just not interested in doing the work. Many plumbers wouldn't return a call or even schedule the work to be done in a timely manner and yet wanted hundreds more for the work to be done. Martin's were responsive and interested in helping. Great customer service and responsiveness. I know now I shouldn't have even wasted my time to get other
quotes and just made the decision to go with the first to show up (and they offered the
best quote.) I hope I don't need them again but as a home owner I probably will and will be calling them again. I highly recommend.

I?ve had him come twice on holidays. He was fabulous. The drain was clogged. I thought that I had to go out for a Thanksgiving dinner because I wouldn?t be able to find a plumber. I was looking for somebody in the phonebook, who would come out on a holiday. So, I called his office. Somebody else answered the call, but he called me back ten minutes later. He told me that he was on his way to my house. Fortunately, he had come over and fixed the drain in 45 minutes. To top it all, he was really reasonable. He also came out on the 4th of July. Now, if anyone requires a plumber, I give them his name.
