Smoothly. I had planned on just getting an exterior door lockable again, but have no regrets in contracting for the additional work. For YEARS I have been wanting to get the locks rekeyed so I didn't have to have 4 different keys for the exterior doors and he did everything I had wanted to do in a very short time!

The person who came was not the regular guy, but someone else who worked with him. Did the job as agreed and felt the cost was reasonable.

Vendor gave me excellent service on time and clean, friendly and prompt.

I was expecting to drop my locks off and come back later but instead they were re-keyed on the spot and I left with all of them in hand. The previous keys had to be wiggled to open the door properly but the new ones fit snug and open the door right up. A+ service!

No problems. Dave came right out. Suggested we did not need to upgrade locks and re-keyed all of our existing locks. Did not try to
upsell us which I really appreciated.

I like him. He is very prompt and does a good job. The price is a little high, but it is an independent family-owned company, and my wife and I like to support companies like that. I would use him again in the future if necessary.

We have a door with a somewhat esoteric locking system. A spring broke inside the lock and we called a local locksmith. They had no idea even how to disassemble the lock, much less repair it. So then we called the management company for our gated community and they recommended Action Lock and Key. I called and the locksmith was here about an hour later. He disassembled the entire system, which runs the entire height of the door along the outer edge, discovered that the housing for the mechanism was welded closed, making the replacement of the broken spring impossible. The only remedy would be to replace the whole system. BUT!! He said to do so was not necessary because the door was still operational and could still be locked as designed. If the lock ever failed completely, call him and they would replace it. He then reassembled the whole thing and said, "No charge because I didn't repair anything." "What about your time?" I asked. "Don't worry about it," he replied, and off he went. HOW SPECIAL IS THAT????
