I was charged $985.00 for 1 hour of work and a fitting. I let him know I was recently widowed. After reading the Yelp reviews, this seems to be a pattern of overcharging women. He did give me an estimate which I balked about, he told me there was a lot of digging. I assumed there would be several hours of work. Nope. 1 hour and a fitting. A friend from my Church talked to several plumbers first, then called to complain. Rick told him too bad, I had been given an estimate. He should be ashamed of himself.

I wasn't home but m y husband said everything was good.

Serviceman refused to replace kitchen faucet due to need to drill hole for garbage disposal switch (although this had been done twice before by other plumbers in the 18 years we have owned the house). Shower required the replacement of the cartridge. The Moen unit had a lifetime warrantee on parts (their retail for the part is $77) but the serviceman did not tell us that. He told us the repair would cost $289. It took less than an hour but the invoice showed no parts cost or labor cost...just a flat rate. I will definitely not use Watkins in the future.

Friendly and professional repairman. Analyzed problem and presented options. Work done quickly, professionally and cleanly.

It was a tough job due to angles of the pipes but Mikey didn’t give up he got the line opened up good , I have used this company 3 times prior and will continue

Perfect! Quality parts used; work area cleaned up (looks better than it did before); new heater explained in detail to me--how it works and what controls were for; and what parts were new and what they did. Also helped me find model # and serial # for registration paperwork. Worker was Mikey, with same company, who a little while back installed a European hand held shower for us. Everything good about this job can also be said about that job, which was for my wife who was getting out of a physical rehab enter, and who loves her shower!

It went great! John Carton was the person who did the work and he went above and beyond in all aspects of work performed! Very pleased with service and professionalism!

John explained how the pan and surrounding wall were constructed, and showed us how water couldn't get into the wall. Rather than suggest replacing anything, he assured us that our equipment was sound and the installation was done correctly.

Plumber was prompt and courteous and professional. Work was done well and in a timely manner. Price was very reasonable.

Jeff arrived a few minutes early and completed the work in 30 minutes, he was professional,polite, and did a good job explaining what needed to be done to convert from the odd size output pipe. Jeff also examined the main water shutoff to the house and confirmed it is working properly.

Did not go well.  They arrived late in the day and only had one man for the first two hours on a 2 man job.  Eventually the owner showed to assist.  The snake got embedded in roots and they left the pipe open due to the snake being caught/stuck and it was now 9 p.m.  I told them, at that point, that I would prefer getting someone else in the a.m.  I realize circumstances happen, but they did not seem professional enough for my trust at that point.

I think they did excellent work and the price was about what it would have cost as average for work like that, included that they had to cut across concrete driveway.

The Plumber arrived early as requested was courteous and friendly.  He worked quickly wasting no time  and completed the job to my satisfaction.

Did a good job

We had a back up issues and he took care of the problem. He was able to determine the problem with blockage. I was very pleased with them.

I called for an estimate and the gentleman was out here within the hour. He gave us a price which I felt was fair and I had him do the work. Everything went smoothly, he was extremely professional, and I will be calling the company back fairly soon when I have to get my water heater changed out.

Hot water was leaking and I could not shut it off.  Probably original handles that needed replacing.  My first phone call to the business was very friendly and personal.  I love that! The technician that came to my home was very nice and professional.  I know I paid more than I was comfortable with but I was tired of waiting for my "handy man" husband to do the job and running a business does require overhead! Thank you Watkins - I will definitely use you again!

I now have a new water heater and it is up to code 100%.  I am so pleased with the work.  He also kept me up to date on the cost as he was working and bringing everything up to code.

We have always used them for plumbing. He has always been very good.
