 + -1 more1. Merchant should not bill customer until products are available in-stock AND shipped. This is an AICPA accounting standard. Products were not shipped during my pursuit of order status, a full 2-week period of time. 2. Merchant should reply to all e-mail's on a timely basis. 3. Merchant sounds like they are under-staffed, can't process all orders in a timely manner or efficiently respond to calls without multiple people involved. 4. Other consumer complaint found lodged on merchant at www.complaints.com. Merchant personnel were kind and friendly on phone, but took extra effort & added frustration on my part to determine order status and get responsiveness. Credit card company says merchants should not process payment until goods are shipped.
Description of Work: Ordered pool chemicals 4/28, credit card charged 4/29. By 5/12, no merchandise was shipped so I filed credit card dispute. From 5/6-5/10, I sent 4 e-mails requesting ship confirmation/tracking info including notice if no reply I would file charge dispute. No reply from Tim until 5/11 stating someone would call me. I called their office, told to wait for callback after retail store opened. Retail manager Violet called, said problems with e-mail caused shipping delays (?!), products back-ordered, but shipment that day and she would contact me with results. No reply by end of day, so sent her e-mail. I called Violet 5/12, who was too busy to talk. I waited a few minutes for callback to end of my workday, no reply. I left voice message. I had no choice but to file credit card dispute. Later, Tim Merino sent e-mail stating company had reported me to 5list.com (merchant abuse site), and they had stopped my order.
