My family decided to move from San Mateo to the Lamorinda area early this year. We met Val at an open house and were immediately impressed with her. She was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We quickly decided that we wanted her to help us find a new home. As it turned out, we chose one of the worst times to move because inventory was at record lows. We're also pretty darn particular and wanted to make sure we bought the right house in the right neighborhood. The result was a home search that took over 6 months. It was very stressful. Val listened to our needs and worked day and night to find the right house for us. She helped us through frustration, stress and disappointment with the market conditions and kept our spirits up. She didn't waste our time showing us houses that weren't a fit. She was punctual, professional and trustworthy every step of the way. I'm happy to report that we did finally find a house that was a great fit for our family. Throughout the offer and closing process, Val was there working in our best interest. She has even been there after the transaction, providing recommendations for local professionals like contractors, handymen and the like. Right after we moved into the house we had a home insurance claim. Things weren't going smoothly and Val jumped in and made sure that we were taken care of. That's right. Even after the deal was done and we closed on the house, Val is still helping us out where she can. I've never had such a positive experience with a realtor. I cannot recommend Val highly enough. She is the best!
