We had a very pleasant experience using Roman's Tree Service and would definitely hire them again. Their fee was fair, they were responsive throughout the process, and they did an even better job than we could have asked for. We were particularly pleased with the job they did on a palm tree we have that was overdue for a trim as we had a hard time finding any tree trimming services willing to work on palms.

Awesome. What a knowledgeable and professional man. Eric Roman explained the problem with my tree and recommended removal. (I obviously waited too long before calling a specialist) He explained how to prevent having the same problem with my other trees. Because I have a long-time gardener I wanted him to do the removal. The gardener agreed that he thought that was a good recommendation.

It took me almost 4 months to get Roman's Tree Service back to complete their clean-up and deal with two trees that were not pruned satisfactorily. As soon as I posted a complaint on Angie's List, I got a call from America in Roman's office, apologizing for not getting back to me. She then scheduled Erick and his crew to return within a few days, which they did. For the record, I had copied Erick on all of my previous correspondence to America and so I was particularly frustrated with him, as we have not only used Roman's for over 10 years but we have also recommended them to friends. Erick and I agreed on what work needed to be done, which was completed that day to my satisfaction. No additional charges were made. I said, "yes" I would use them again, but I am still on the fence and may try another service.

We had an outstanding experience with Romans Tree Service. We used Romans to remove three huge trees -- one pine and two palms -- two of which were overhanging some dangerous high power lines, making this a high-risk job. Erick gave us by far the most competitive quote of all the services we called, and got the job done without having to shut off power to us or our neighbors. His crew was punctual, efficient, and friendly, even in the 100-degree heat. They got the job done and cleaned up beautifully. Will use them again for all future tree jobs and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I requested through Angie's List for an estimate and made an appointment. Franklin arrived at the appointed time and really went over what I needed to have done in detail. This morning his crew arrived right on time and began working. Franklin arrived a little after the crew and we discussed again what was needed to be done with all the trees. The crew were right on target and made my trees look beautiful. They cleaned up the front and back yard immaculately! Carted off all the trimmings, leaving me with absolutely nothing to do but write a check! Will definitely use Roman's tree service again!

Crew sent out very soon after request called in and arrived at time agreed. Foreman came with crew to assess job and assign work. Scope of work was explained and discussed with us before process began. Foreman also gave us his cell phone number in case we had questions or problems as work progressed. Cutting work took about half day, with stump grinding taking another half day later. Foreman stayed to get crew started and returned to check out work and check in with us on both work days. Workers had misunderstood where to place stump chips but moved them graciously. The work needed was explained to us very clearly up front, as was the pricing. A good bit of the cost was for stump grinding, which took about half a day in addition to the time for the removal itself. We were pleased with the work and found the foreman very helpful and accommodating. We were very satisfied with this service.

I called back to ask why that happened and the new person that answered said that they don't have the schedule.  When I said all the first girl needed to do was tell me that instead of transferring me before I scheduled my estimate.  She said that there are a lot of receptionists and it wasn't her and do I want to schedule something.  I replied no.
Very bad first impression...I won't risk working with them.

They covered the air conditioning unit with a blanket and protected the gate to the back yard with a blanket. 
Each branch was lowered carefully to the ground so it would not damage the surrounding landscaping.  I noticed one branch went over the fence into the neighbors yard.  But they retrieved it and hauled it away.  They were on time, courteous and got the job done quickly.  when they were done, the stump was cut off cleanly at the ground level.  When they were done, there was no sign of the tree.  they did not leave any stray branches around the yard.  it was very neat.
