Very knowledgeable; very professional. A little more money than I expected to pay, but the results were very, very good. The pocket door brackets are no longer available, but he found a pair in his truck.

Unbelievable. It's like getting a brand new door. Ron replaced the glides, weatherstripping and rollers on an old aluminum sliding patio door. Ron is extremely efficient and replaced everything in about 45 minutes. The cost may seem high, but it's much cheaper than a new door and now it works like new. Absolutely worth the price paid.

The technician was able to get the door off the rail (a feat in itself with this door), and he replaced the rail which had deteriorated. The door slides better now than it ever has.

Ranko did an outstanding job. It was professional in every aspect and I would ask him without reservation if I need any other windows/door work done.

First of all it is very difficult to find someone to come out and fix a sliding glass door. They only come out based on the manufacturer. This company did not even ask the type of door. The service was excellent. He was busy so he could not come out for 5 days but when he did he went right to work.  He provided 2 solutions.  Then he he was very focused and got the job done quickly.  I have lived here for 11 years and the door never worked this well. He did not exceed the estimate over the phone. I will definitely use him again!

I contacted American Sliding Door to install pet doors in my sliding glass door and in the screen door for the slider.  I was so happy to have a local provider (I like to support the local businesses if possible).

I knew I was going to have to replace the glass on the sliding door in order to have the pet door through the glass.  I found the price very reasonable  considering the glass replacement, screen door, and pet door hardware.  They are excellent quality pet doors.

The pet door in the slider comes with two flaps, one inside and outside the glass, this keeps the door insulated.  There are also magnets that hold the pet door closed from wind or airflow.  If you need to remove any of the magnets or flaps to help during the training of your pet, it is fairly easy with this pet door.

Despite already having a screen door, the entire screen door needed to be replaced to accommodate the pet door hardware in the screen.  I find the quality of the new screen door much better than the original so I found the additional cost in the screen door to be worth it.

The workers were extremely professional.  They offered to install the door shortly after everything arrived in their shop.  Everything came out perfect.  They took there time to make sure we were going to be happy with the end product.

Ron did a fantastic job.
The door he repaired was completely non-functional when he started. Now it slides perfectly and almost silently.
He was in and out within a few hours. He cleaned up his workspace, the only way you would know that he was in our house is that the door now works.
He charged exactly what was quoted over the phone.
My husband and I are very impressed with his work and would recommend him to anyone who needs this service.

In order to do this work, the door was removed from the frame. The rollers were replaced. The track and door bottom was cleaned. When done, the door glides very well and continues to work well 6 months later.

We are in the process of getting our house ready for sale and we needed to correct two sliding glass doors that were balky. Also the two screen doors were not working smoothly either. I called American Sliding Door because of the reviews on Angies List that said the vendor was responsive. The reviews were correct. I called about 12:30pm and by 2:00, he was at the front door ready to diagnose our issues. it turned out both doors had corroded rollers that needed replacing, and the screens were off track. The entire door had to be removed in both cases and then put back together and readjusted. It takes some doing on older homes like our where things can get slightly out of alignment due to minor settling. The job was completed within two hours and we were very happy with the work and the promptness. The cost was on the high side but we were willing to pay a premium to get the job done quickly and correctly. When you are messing around with old doors it can be some doing to get them sliding properly again. I would use American Sliding Door Company again.

, replaced another window and its' aluminum frame.
Ron Semjan, the owner of American sliding door, personally did all of the work. The glass, in our sliding doors, was broken by AvinoTree Service. At my request, Ron came over and made a repair estimate. He did such a great job, I asked him for estimates to completely replace; three glass frames, three windows, a window screen and some sliding glass wheels (or "runners"). Ron's new bid was, by far, the lowest bid. He finished well ahead of schedule and right on the budget. Wow! I cannot remember the last time that happened, with a skilled craftsman I had hired. Within the next year, I will ask him to relace more of our 32 year old windows.
Sincerely,
Porter L. Baymon

The service provider performed the service the same day I called, a Saturday. He kept me posted on his expected arrival time and arrived on time. He performed the work quickly and it turned out beautiful. I would recommend his service to anyone.

An exterior sliding glass was getting progressively more difficult to open, and almost impossible for my wife. Ron arrived on time, patiently worked with hand tools to remove a badly deteriorated track, installed a new track, and installed ball bearing rollers on the door. It works far better than it ever has, even when newly installed!

Ranko arrived on time, performed the work as promised, and cleaned up the workplace. The door opens and closes very easily. Very happy with the result.
I marked the price as fair because it was more expensive than what we discussed over the phone. The stainless steel strip was extra. It was also expensive when you consider that it took about an hour to complete the work.

Service and quality of the repairs were excellent. Thought the price was high though. Don't do this often but $450 to repair two sliders seems like a lot to me. They did provide estimates before performing the work though, so we knew what we were getting in to. And they do know what they're doing - they specialize in sliders, so the work was efficient as well as good.

Mr. Semjan arrived right on time and was professional and efficient throughout.
First he took off some molding that was making it harder to reach the work area. I was a bit alarmed, thinking that it might require at least some paint touch-up, but it did not; he was amazingly neat. It turned out that even that was not quite sufficient, in that the door's motion indicated a problem with the back end of the metal track deep inside the wall. So he took the door off, and found that a screw was missing at the end of the track. Luckily he had a tool that allowed him to reach into the wall and replace the screw. There is also a potential interference from a screw protruding back from an electrical outlet. He pointed it out for future reference, just in case, but it has not caused a problem yet and is not likely to. So at that point he put it all back together.
Overall I'm quite happy with the work and with Ranko's professionalism, even though the scope of the job was rather more than I had imagined. It did appear to be necessary.
