WOO BROTHERS ELECTRIC

I was given the name of this company by another company on Angie's list because he was unable to do the work. I contacted the Woo Brothers and explained that I had a ceiling fan that was approximately 20 feet off the ground. I was having trouble finding someone that would work on a fan so high. He said no problem we can do that, we have a ladder tall enough to reach it. I told him that I had a Casablanca fan and explained what was happening with the fan. He said it would need another mother board in the fan and another wall unit that controls the fan. He got the information on the model and said he would order the part. We had an appointment for Tuesday to install it. He called late Monday and said the part was not in. He was going to wait and see if it came in on the shipment Friday and would call.  It did not come in on that shipment. He asked again what the model was and asked me if I had written down the part number he had told me that needed to be ordered. He figured it out again and said he would re order it and would call me when it came in. We were gone on vacation the next week. I expected to have a message on my answering machine telling me the part was in. No such luck. I waited for another half week and called him since I had not heard from him in 2 full weeks. His response was let me check to see if it came in last nights shipment.  No it had not. I cancelled him and his company right then. I guess they don't care for my business. No one calls back and they don't even get the parts in or remember what parts they were suppose to order. I would never ever recommend the Woo Brothers to ANYONE. I hired someone else and saved $100 from his quote.

They never called me back. It's par for the course. A lot of people don't call you back. I would probably consider using them in the future.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS COMPANY HAS COME OUT FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM AND TO DATE THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. MY STOVE IS EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT POWER SURGES. THE COMPANY STATED THAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE WIRE/PLUG IN THE BACK OF THE STOVE, SO THEY REPLACED THE WIRING/PLUG AND THEN CORRECTED SOME WIRING THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY WIRED INCORRECTLY. AS OF 10/27/05 THE STOVE IS STILL NOT OPERATING CORRECTLY AND THE POWER SHORTAGES/SURGES ARE STILL HAPPENING. I HAVE CALLED THE COMPANY OUT AGAIN THE REPAIR THE PROBLEM, LETS HOPE THEY CORRECT IT.
