It all went very well. I bought what was needed ahead of time (so i could find the price and quality of product I wanted to be used, (we switched from the std toggle switch lights controls to the flat rocker paddles) and the wife wanted a special color. Greg showed up with his associate on time, and finished in the timeframe they thought it would take. They did for me in just 3 hours what it would have taken me to do over a course of many weekends to do. I am very happy with the results.

Greg responded immediately to our inquiry and was flexible in setting up a time to come and provide an estimate for getting electricity to our fountain and pergola. The work was completed timely and to our satisfaction. It was a great to work with Sconce Electric.

Shortly after the initial phone contact Greg came to survey the job and submit a proposal. I found Greg very professional and competitively priced. Greg and his assistant showed up on time to do the work. They were friendly, hardworking, and did quality work. I definitely will hire Sconce Electric in the future.

Greg Sconce was very profession and prompt. I was impressed from start to finished. Greg was attentive, courteous, and knowledgable. I will be calling him again for more electrical work that needs to be done around the house. Our garage was originally the office space for the model homes in our neighborhood. The office was converted back to a garage and there were many wires in the attic that were not properly boxed with a couple of live wires. He diagnosed the problem on the spot and was able to fix it the same day. He also installed a 50 amp breaker as a main shut off for a shed in the backyard. I would not hesitate to call on him again.

It was very satisfactory work that they did for me. They did it promptly and quickly at the quote that they gave me. Their price included all the light fixtures. They gave me exactly what I requested and were professional. Their price was fair and the quality was high. They were on time.

I needed to install two ceiling fans in my house where there were no fans before. I was going to this myself, but found that the electrical boxes in the ceiling were not proper for fan installation. At this point I started to look for an electrician to do the job.Searching Angie's site I found Sconce Electric and liked all the reviews. I contacted Sconce by email and received quick response from Greg the owner. We exchanged couple of emails to establish what work and when it will be done.Once we have established service date I agreed to the installation.Greg came on the agreed date and time and all work have been performed to the highest standard and my satisfaction.Sconce Electric has become my #1 choice for the future electrical work.

For years my in-law's air conditioner had been malfunctioning - - the fan would be running, but no cool air was coming through the registers. They did not realize that the air conditioner was repeatedly tripping the circuit breaker, and kept calling the air conditioning company to come and fix the air conditioner. The air conditioner was fine... Turns out the problem was a too-small circuit breaker. I called Sconce and made an appointment for the following afternoon. It was agreed that they would call me when they were on their way to my home. They called as promised, and arrived on time. I watched as the Sconce technicians checked the breaker - - the wires were broken and almost melted, the breaker itself was discolored and warped. The 25 amp breaker was replaced with a 45 amp breaker, and the air conditioner now cools without interruption.

Gregg is a great guy. He stayed in close contact with me via e-mail, text message, and cell phone as I travel back and forth between Roseville and Petaluma. Was able to set up a mutually agreeable time. He arrived with his assistant, evaluated the situation, then conducted repairs in the most cost effective manner. Really appreciated the professionalism, price, and flexability. Would highly recommend using him in the future.

Greg was incredibly responsive! I called on a Friday afternoon and he was here Saturday morning to give me an estimate, and then scheduled the work for the following Wednesday. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me really sound advice on replacement lighting. His pricing was very reasonable and he completed everything quickly and professionally. I will definitely call him again when I need more electrical work done!! It was a pleasure doing business with him.

They were right on time and when it turned out that the chain we had bought was not long enough, Greg went out and bought the right length. They did the work quickly and professionally and we have a great new light fixture. Thanks!

Called on Tuesday; they dropped by to inspect the work that afternoon and scheduled work for noon on Thursday. At noon on Thursday Greg and his his associate arrived. They were very professional and friendly. We discussed the detail of the work and they started their inspection and discovery process. Soon they took the time to explain the state of each of our issues. We decided together what we wanted to proceed with. All items were completed to our satisfaction in a very efficient manner. We particularly appreciated their suggestions for our garage lighting and their recommendation of installing a fan/light which is exactly what we needed for this oft used area.

It was fantastic. Greg Sconce showed up right on time and got right to work. He was done in less than 2 hours and corrected issues that other people created or failed to catch. He solved problems we didn't even know we had. We'd recommend him to anyone - highly.

First visit --checking lights Second visit--install two chandeliers purchased from Overstock. Third visit--install a ceiling fixture where one had not been before. Fourth visit -- reset GFI (so ok this was another idiot user situation, and Greg tried talk me through troubleshooting but I failed) We are so pleased with Sconce Electric's work that we will be having him return to put in lights on the front of the house. Hire this company and you'll never have problems with your electrical again.

We noticed that while using the computer, occasionally the monitor would just go black (lose power). We had called out a computer tech, thinking it was the equipment but realizing that the lights were also flickering. A lot of equipment was plugged into a single surge suppressor and then into the wall so might possibly be a bad surge suppressor? Overloaded? After calling out Sconce Electric, they quickly determined the problem to be with the main breaker on the panel and once it and two others were replaced, all electrical problems immediately stopped as well. Greg and Corey work together quickly, professionally and seamlessly. They always take the time to explain what they're doing and why - and it's always appreciated when someone shows up on time or gives you a heads up when they're on their way out. This was my second time using Greg Sconce and will definitely not be my last. Please see my previous review from last year. I almost dont want to leave a great review because he'll be so busy he'll be harded to get a hold of! :-)

Greg had come out before the service date and given me an estimate for the work. The porch light and installing new lights above our bathroom vanities was pretty straightforward and they did it very quickly and efficiently. The ceiling light above the shower was more complicated but he did a great job and the light really changed how the room looks. The new light in my office was the hardest because our house is older and didn't have the right wiring plus the ceiling is really high, but he and his worker figured it all out and it turned out great. He stayed right on target with his estimate and left the house as clean as he found it. I would certainly hire him again.

Greg came out the day after I called him, to see the work that needed to be done and give us a written estimate. He arrived on time. I explained the work that needed to be done. We needed a fan installed in a outdoor covered patio. Greg explained the electrical source he would use to provide electricity to the fan and what it would look like The second thing to be done involved a waterfall that was not running. Greg pointed out that the GFI switch was not resetting. We agreed that he would replace the GFI and make sure that there was electricity to that point. We made an appointment for him to come back in two days to do the the work. Greg and his assistant, Cory, arrived on time. Did the work in a couple of hours for the price quoted.
