I've used American River Heating and Air in my current home, and for service calls in my last two homes over the past several years. It wasn't clear what was initially wrong with our current HVAC unit, and the technician worked with us to make sure the problem got fixed in the end -- making an extra visit this morning to fix the problem -- all around the Christmas holiday.
Friendly, professional, easy to talk to, and solutions-oriented. In my previous home, the technician was nice enough to show us an alternate way to install HVAC air filters, saving us some money.

I called Dave Simpson  for an appointment and he and Rich came and cleaned the coils, checked the unit, and advised me on the icing problem we experienced last summer.  He left instructions on what to do during the summer to avoid this problem. 
I appreciated  the time he spent checking the vents and making sure the filters were clean.  No refrigerant was needed and so I feel
this unit will do well this year to keep us cool.
Dave did an excellent job of servicing my A/C and I will be using him for yearly maintenance.
